Top College Basketball Player Props for Friday, February 16

After a profitable 2-1 evening, we're ready to get back in the saddle with our college basketball player props. Our top play on Brandon Johnson got us to the cash-out window, as he finished with 10 rebounds for East Carolina. Johnell Davis of Florida Atlantic also stayed under his point total to secure a winning evening for us.

Our only loser was on Derek Simpson, who barely busted our under on him by dishing out 4 assists. That loss was particularly frustrating because some scoreboard apps had him finishing with just 3 assists. Oh well, a winning night is a winning night! Check out our top picks for Friday, February 16.

Jaedon LeDee (SD State) Over 7.5 Rebounds (-122) (FanDuel)

I admire FanDuel for constantly having the guts to post prop lines that are different from the rest of the market. It helped us last night with Johnson and we're getting another favorable number with LeDee tonight against New Mexico. If you'd prefer not to lay juice, I'm okay with Over 8.5 rebounds at +110 over at BetMGM.

LeDee has proven all season to be the best player in the Mountain West Conference. He leads the Aztecs in both points per game and rebounds per game, with his median number of boards per game being 8. He's gone over this total in 13 of 24 contests this season.

New Mexico rebounds the ball pretty well, so that's a bit of a concern. Nevertheless, LeDee will be matched up with JT Toppin, who he outweighs by 30 pounds. Look for a big night from LeDee in both the points and rebounding categories. Take the Over!

Eric Dixon (Villanova) Under 16.5 Points (-110) (DraftKings)

Here's a nice scary Under to get us fired up for the weekend! Dixon can be a beast to defend on the block and he certainly has the capability to put up 25+ points. That being said, his median point total for the 2023-24 campaign is just 14.

Dixon has scored 16 points or less in 16 of his 24 ball games this season. The Willow Grove, Pennsylvania native has also stayed under this point total in 5 of his last 8 outings. Lastly, Dixon has stayed under 16.5 points in 7 of his 12 road/neutral site games.

There's no easy way to say this, but Georgetown flat out stinks. Even still, I think Hoyas big man Supreme Cook matches up well against Dixon. Not only does Supreme have an exceptionally cool name, but he's also 6-foot-9. Let's hold our breath and take the Under!

Supreme Cook (Georgetown) Over 10.5 Points (-110) (BetMGM)

Speaking of Supreme, let's go ahead and add his point total to our portfolio for Friday night! This kid has been on a major roll of late. He's gone over this total in 9 of his last 10.

Cook has exceeded this point total in 13 of his 24 contests this season. His median point total is also 12. That's not an overly impressive resume, but still a profitable one from a betting standpoint.

Sure, 'Nova is a pretty decent defensive team. However, the Wildcats still rank just 94th in 2-point shooting percentage allowed (48.5%). Let's bank on Mr. Cook staying hot at home, where he's gone over this total in 8 of 15 games.
