NCAA Tournament Player Props Guide for Thursday, March 21

Welcome to one of the best days on the sports betting calendar! The First Four is over and the "real" bracket is officially set! Celebrate March Madness by checking out our NCAA Tournament player props guide for Thursday, March 21. Good luck with all of your selections, sports betting family!

Our college basketball player props continued to do well, as they ended up 2-1 last night. Chibuzo Agbo went over his point total for us in a losing effort for Boise State and Tra'Michael Moton easily stayed under his point total to ensure us a nice evening. Our lone loser was on Jourdan Smith, who busted our Under on his way to helping Grambling State edge out Montana State.

Josh Hubbard (Miss St) Under 19.5 Points (-120) (BetMGM)

"Hubbs" has been a scoring machine lately for the Bulldogs, but I think he comes back to earth a little bit against this stingy Michigan State defense. The freshman sensation has a median point total of 16.5 this season, which in theory provides a lot of value on the Under. Hubbard has stayed under this total in 21 of his 34 ball games this season.

I get that most folks are sick of hearing about what a great coach Tom Izzo is during March. Even though his teams have faded a bit in recent seasons, Izzo is still a Hall of Famer for a reason. If Hubbard starts getting hot from three-point land, don't be surprised if Izzo puts his best defender, AJ Hoggard, on him. Hoggard is 6'4" and he should be able to limit the number of open looks that the 5'10" Hubbard gets in this game.

The Spartans are 21st in the nation in points allowed and 58th in defensive efficiency. Fire up your Keurig and enjoy a hot cup of Joe while cheering on an early morning Under!

Collin Murray-Boyles (South Carolina) Under 13.5 Points (-135) (BetMGM)

Man, I wish this juice was a little lower, but it's still worth a play. Murray-Boyles is another talented freshman in the SEC who is coming into this own. That being said, even with a recent uptick in minutes played, Murray-Boyles has a point total median of just 8 this season.

The yearly metrics also favor the Under, as Murray-Boyles has scored 13 or less in 19 of his 27 outings in '23-24. The Columbia, South Carolina native has stayed Under this total in 9 of his 13 road-neutral site games. Oregon has enough length to defend Murray-Boyles, as they have N'Faly Dante (6'11") and Nate Bittle (7-foot) down low. Let's ride another Under in this potential afternoon thriller!

DJ Richards (McNeese) Over 9.5 Points (-124)

Even with Gonzaga's stellar defense, this number just looks too low for Richards, who has a median point total of 12 this season. The 6'5" guard has been shooting the ball well of late, as he's scored 10 points or more in 4 out of his last 5 outings. The Over has also cashed versus this line in 18 of Richards's 33 contests.

I get that playing any type of Over against this Bulldogs defense is scary. However, the Zags have one Achilles heel that stands out on the defensive end. They rank just 184th in the country in three-point defense.

As luck would have it, Richards really shines from downtown, as he hits 45.2% of his shots from beyond the arc. Look for McNeese to try and set some screens to get Richards open quite often in this one. Take the Over!
