Best College Basketball Player Props for Thursday, March 14

After a nice 2-1 day in college basketball, we're ready to keep pounding away on some player props. Lynn Greer of Saint Joe easily went over his point total to get our day off to a winning start. Unfortunately, Jalon Moore of Oklahoma knocked down a couple of free throws in the waning minutes against TCU to bust our Under on his point total.

Thankfully, Devin Carter got us back in the win column by only scoring 19 points for Providence against Georgetown to cash the Under in our late game. Thursday's action includes games from the Big 10, Big 12, and Mountain West. Check out what's on tap for March 14 below. Good luck, folks!

Malik Hall (Michigan St) Under 14.5 Points (-110) (BetMGM)

The Spartans have been an Under team all year long, and both of these squads opt for a slower pace of play. Hall (6'8") has a nice skill set, but he may have a tough time scoring against Dawson Garcia, who is 6'11". In two regular season meetings against Minnesota, Hall only averaged 11 points.

The season-long metrics point to an Under as well. Hall has scored 14 points or less in 18 of his 31 ball games this season. The Aurora, Illinois native has also stayed under this point total in 2 of his last 3 outings.

Hall also hasn't been as dialed in for games that are on the road or at a neutral site. He's 9-4 to the Under in those contests. Let's play the Under to get the day kick-started!

J'Wan Roberts (Houston) Under 12.5 Points (-115) (DraftKings)

FanDuel has this at 11.5 and my numbers say it should be even lower at 10.5. I love Roberts's game, but he sometimes doesn't get enough touches because of Houston's plethora of good scorers. Roberts is only averaging around 7.5 field goal attempts per game, so he'd have to shoot at a pretty high clip to go over this number.

The Under is 20-10 vs. this point total in Roberts's 30 games this season. The 6'7" senior has also scored 12 points or fewer in 6 of his last 10 outings. Roberts will also be going up against Emanuel Miller of TCU, and that won't be an easy task either.

The home vs. road splits also favors an Under in this spot. Roberts has played 14 games away from his home court. He's stayed Under this point total in 9 of those games. Don't overthink this one!

Jaedon LeDee (SD St) Over 17.5 Points (-115) (DraftKings)

Are we really picking an Over for the second day in a row? Holy cow, I must be getting sick or something! I got a funny feeling that LeDee is going to be out for blood after losing to UNLV just 9 days ago. The Mountain West Player of the Year only scored 12 points in that Aztecs loss, but it's highly unlikely that he shoots only 16.7% from the field again today.

LeDee's point total median is 20.5 this season, which gives us a solid edge versus this line of only 17.5. The thing I like most about this bet though, is LeDee's current form. The 6'9" senior has gone over this point total in 7 of his last 8 contests.

On the rare occasions that I play an Over, I want a player that doesn't get into too much foul trouble. LeDee has only fouled out of one game all season, so he definitely checks that box. He's also usually on the floor for around 34 minutes per game, which should help our case for the Over!
