After Jalen Brunson’s well-deserving inaugural All-Star weekend, let’s look for the Knicks’ lead guard to put on a show against the 76ers in Philly.
Brunson dropped 29 points in a blowout victory the last time these two played, while shooting 55% from the field.
With Philly’s inside defense taking a massive toll with the absence of Embiid, we like Jalen to continue his All-Star caliber play on the offensive end.
F Mikal Bridges (BKN) OVER 7.5 REB+AST
With Jacque Vaughn out and Kevin Ollie in for the Brooklyn Nets, look for their first game at home to become a little ugly at times, especially with Ben Simmons on the court.
However, with Bridges vocally unhappy with the offensive scheme under Vaughn, he should play free today on each side of the ball, racking up the stats he used to get back in Phoenix.
He had 15 REB+AST in his first game against Toronto as a Net and averages 9.9 REB+AST in wins pre-All-Star break. This is a must-bet against the Raptors who allowed the 2nd most assists per game over their last three.
G Tyrese Haliburton (IND) OVER 3.0 3PM
After watching Haliburton dominate All-Star weekend, how could he not attempt five or more three pointers at home in his first game back? Hali averages just 20 PPG in two outings against Detroit this season.
With a chip on his shoulder after getting snubbed of All-Star MVP, Tyrese should up his streak of 3-or-more 3PM to four games after tonight’s hopeful win against the Pistons. He averages 3.7 3PM in wins.
G Tre Mann (CHA) OVER 12.5 PTS
One name that cannot be forgotten after the break is Tre Mann. Since being traded from the Thunder, Mann has led the Hornets to 3 straight wins scoring 9, 11, and then 21 in each outing.
Tre has also been given the green light, shooting 13 3-pointers in that span. Facing a Utah team allowing the 2nd-most APG in the league this season and the highest 3PT% over their last three games, Mann remains a solid bet with Lamelo Ball out.
