3 College Basketball Player Props for Wednesday, March 13

After a rough 2-4 performance yesterday, we're ready to get back on track with our college basketball player props. We took the dreaded 0-3 golden sombrero here at home and went 2-1 on our sister site. One of the losses was by the dreaded hook in OT, but the other ones were just bad reads.

Overall, though, we're still sitting at 41-33 on the year, so there's no reason to panic. Let's shake it off and move on! See what we have for Wednesday, March 13 below. Best of luck today, sports betting family.

Lynn Greer (St. Joe) Over 9.5 Points (-110) (BetMGM)

GASP! Stop the presses! Yes, we're finally taking an Over of the first time in weeks! Our numbers indicate that this point total is a bucket too low. Greer isn't the main scoring threat on this St. Joseph's squad, but his median point total is 12 this season.

What we have here is an overreaction by the oddsmakers to a tough George Mason defense. Don't get me wrong, the Patriots are stout on that end of the floor. However, this line should be 10.5 for Greer, even with a tough matchup.

Greer has scored 10 points or more in 17 of 29 ball games this season. He may have only scored 8 against George Mason earlier this season, but he's shot the ball remarkably well in road/neutral games (10 pts or more in 9 of 12). Take the Over for some early morning action, folks!

Jalon Moore (Oklahoma) Under 14.5 Points (-125) (DraftKings)

Moore has been playing more consistent of late for the Sooners, but not enough to justify a total this high. The 6'6" forward has a median point total of just 10 this season. Moore also scored just 10 points against TCU back on January 10th of this year.

From an overall season perspective, we like the Under quite a bit in this spot. Moore has scored 14 points or fewer in 20 of his 30 ball games. He's also stayed under this point total in 6 of his last 10 outings.

We aren't crazy about the Horned Frogs defense, but they do an okay job of defending the 3-point shot. The Sooners also like to run at a slower tempo, so that should work in our favor here as well. Let's get back on the Under train!

Devin Carter (Providence) Under 21.5 Points (-130) (DraftKings)

Don't you just hate playing an Under on a great scorer like Carter? It's hard to do so, but there is quite a lot to like about the Under. Carter has scored 21 points or less in 19 of 30 games during the '23-24 campaign.

The Miami, Florida native also has a median point total of 18 this season. Even if we bump that median up a full bucket to 20, we're still Under this point total by quite a bit. Carter did light up the Hoyas pretty bad during the regular season, so this is definitely a tough wager to make.

Carter is a gifted shooter, but he's been a little quieter in road/neutral-site games this season. He's stayed Under in 8 of the 13 games that fit those criteria. Let's hold our collective breath and take another Under to close out today's card!
