3 College Basketball Player Props for Wednesday, February 14

Happy Valentine's Day, sports betting family! We're feeling the love after a 3-0 sweep in college hoops! Maliq Brown easily stayed under 8.5 rebounds to cash our ticket on him. Marcus Domask also stayed under his assists prop to get us the W there as well.

Lastly, Jalen Cook overcame a slow start to knock down 2 three-pointers to complete the perfect night! That brought our CBB props record to 10-6 for the year. It's a small sample size, but we're happy with the strong start.

Let's keep the good vibes rolling with 3 college basketball player props for Wednesday, February 14. Enjoy the games and (just some friendly advice) don't be checking scores while you're with your honey tonight! Best of luck!

Quincy Olivari (Xavier) Under 18.5 Points (-110) (DraftKings)

We cashed in on an Olivari Under last week and don't mind playing one again tonight as Xavier faces off against Seton Hall. Olivari is a sensational guard, but we think this number is a touch too high. The Atlanta native's median number of points scored this season is just 16.

From a season-long perspective, we also get some nice metrics that favor the Under. Olivari has scored 18 points or less in 15 of his 24 ball games. He's also stayed under this point total in 4 out of his last 6 outings.

Our obvious concern with this play is that Olivari went off for 29 points against this same Seton Hall team back on December 23rd. That being said, that was a home game for Olivari and this one is on the highway. In road/neutral games this season, Olivari has went 8-1 to the Under. That's enough for us to hit the old submit button.

Dayvion McKnight (Xavier) Over 3.5 Rebounds (+105) (DraftKings)

Let's stay in the same game for our second player prop of the evening. Y'all should know by now that I love playing on guards to go over their rebounding props. A lot of times the sportsbooks will price their rebounds number too low just because of their position on the court.

McKnight is a scrappy guard, and he has a nose for finding the basketball on long rebounding opportunities. The Shelbyville, Kentucky native has a median rebounding number of 4 this season. He's also gone over this total in 13 of 24 games in the 2023-24 campaign.

The matchup against Seton Hall isn't ideal, but McKnight was able to grab 4 rebounds against them in their prior meeting this season. Xavier ranks 22nd in rebounding while Seton Hall ranks 44th. Let's take the Over at the nice plus-money price.

Norchad Omier (Miami) Over 8.5 Rebounds (-116) (FanDuel)

FanDuel is being awfully generous with this price, and in the words of Sir-Mix-A-Lot, we'll jump on it. Omier has a median rebounding number of 10 this season for the Hurricanes. He's also grabbed 9 or more boards in 14 of his 23 ball games.

According to our numbers, this player prop line should be priced at 9.5 instead of 8.5. It wouldn't surprise us in the least if this line didn't close in the -145 range as far as the juice is concerned. The main concern is that Omier was only able to bring down 6 rebounds against Clemson back on January 3rd.

All of that being said, Omier is a physical player and he's in great current form as far as rebounding is concerned. The Arkansas State transfer has racked up at least 10 rebounds in 6 of his last 7. Let's try another Over to close out the card.
