A pair of 1-1 teams will tangle on Sunday Night Football for Week 3. The Pittsburgh Steelers took down their archrival on Monday Night but will now find themselves in the underdog role on the road against the Raiders.

Best Bet: Raiders -2.5 over Steelers
The Steelers lost their opener to the Niners 30-7 in what was basically a David vs Goliath matchup. They then bounced back nicely by defeating Cleveland on Monday night. Down 22-19 in the 4th, TJ Watt recovered a Deshaun Watson fumble and returned it for a touchdown to take what ultimately became the final score of 26-22.
Kenny Pickett has struggled, completing just 60.5% of his passes and has more interceptions (3) than touchdowns (2). Najee Harris and the run game have yet to truly get going while George Pickens seemingly broke out against Cleveland when he went for 163 yards on 9 receptions and 1 score. The defense has done a nice job in creating turnovers with 5 over their initial 2 games.
Vegas, like Pittsburgh, are also 1-1 through 2 games. They opened their season by sneaking by Denver on the road 17-16. They then faced Buffalo last week, also on the road, and lost 38-10.
The defense has yet to force a turnover and while they kept Denver in check, they could not contain the Bills explosive offense. Jimmy G has been completing 72% of his passes but has tossed the same number of interceptions (3) as touchdowns. Two of his touchdown passes went to Jakobi Meyers who is questionable here with a concussion. 2022-2023 leading rusher, Josh Jacobs, has been a non-factor. He finished with negative yards in Denver and just 48 yards in Buffalo on 28 total carries.
This is a short week for the Steelers who played Monday night in a hard-fought division rivalry game. For Vegas, this will be their home opener and Allegiant Stadium should be packed and revved up. Pitt initially opened as a favorite but have since dropped to a 2.5-point dog.
The Steelers defense has allowed back-to-back 100-yard rushers, and we believe this will be the opportunity that Jacobs needs to breakout a bit. Vegas should make this one ugly and grind out a one score win.
