2024 RBC Heritage Betting Preview 2 Matchups and 4 Props to Consider

Though some golf bettors are in a post-Masters hangover, the action never stops on the PGA Tour. Just a few days after winning his second green jacket, Scottie Scheffler is once again the favorite for this week's RBC Heritage.

The World No. 1 is listed at +400 odds to win the tournament over at DraftKings Sportsbook. Can Scheffler win back-to-back tourneys? Check out our RBC Heritage preview, which includes 2 head-to-head matchups and 3 placement props to consider. Good luck, folks!

Christiaan Bezuidenhout (-120) OVER Harris English

Bezuidenhout has made 4 straight cuts and has finished inside the Top 25 in 3 straight starts. His latest tournament was at the Valero where he finished tied for 25th. He is currently 18th on Tour in total strokes gained.

Here at the RBC Heritage, he has finished no worse than 33rd in his 3 starts over the past 5 years. He faces Harris English who finished 63rd here last year and missed the cut in his previous start.

This season, English has missed a cut in 1 of his last 2 starts. While he grabbed a 22nd finish at the Masters, he struggled at the Valero and shot 5 over.

Patrick Cantlay (-110) OVER Tommy Fleetwood

Cantlay has made the cut in all 8 starts this season. He is fresh off a 22nd finish at the Masters and has finished inside the Top 25 in half of those starts.

At the Heritage, if you take out his missed cut in 2021, he has been in contention the 3 other years. He finished 3rd in 2019 and 2023 and was runner-up in 2022. Fleetwood has 1 missed cut this season but has been playing well since that missed cut.

He finished 7th at the Valero and 3rd at the Masters. However, he has finished below Cantlay at the RBC in 3 of the 4 starts they have made over the last 5 years.

Top 30 Finish: Brian Harman (-140)

Harman has had an up and down season thus far. He finished 5th at the Sentry and 2nd at the Players. However, he missed the cut at the Valspar and last week at the Masters.

At the RBC Heritage, he has finished inside the Top 30 in 3 of his last 4 starts here. We like his course history and believe he bounces back after the tough week in Augusta.

Top 30 Finish: Cam Davis (-115)

Cam Davis has had success here over the years. In his 3 starts over the last 5 years, he has finished no worse than 25th. Last year, he placed 7th after a 3rd place finish the year previous.

He just shot 1 over for the Masters which was good enough for a tie in 12th. We expect Cam to continue his strong play on this track.

Top 30 Finish: JT Poston (-125)

JT is currently 9th on Tour in driving accuracy and 24th in greens in regulation percentage. He finished in 30th at the Masters and has been inside the number in 5 of his other 9 starts this season.

His course history is a bit erratic so use caution. He missed the cut twice over the last 5 seasons. However, in the cuts he has made, he has finished inside the Top 10.

Top 20 Finish: Jordan Spieth (+100)

Jordan failed to defend his title last year after winning the Heritage in 2022. The failure was still impressive as he finished runner-up. He is 8th on Tour in total strokes gained and 12th in strokes gained with his putter.

He has missed 3 of his last 4 cuts but does have 3 top 10 finishes in the 5 events he finished. Let's play Spieth to bounce back after a rough performance at Augusta last week.
