Heading into Week 14, bettors should be excited as the schedule offers multiple rematches this week. These return matchups from earlier this season give both fans and bettors alike an opportunity to know what worked well during the previous matchup, an advantage in the bettors’ favor.

This week, our “four sure” anytime TD player prop bets will focus on athletes who are enjoying a rematch from earlier this season. These four athletes either scored in their first game against their opponent or have a hot hand heading into their rematch.

San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (-333) (Caesars)

On Thanksgiving night, the San Francisco 49ers treated themselves to an offensive feast at the hands of NFC West rival Seattle, defeating the Seahawks 31-13 on the road. After topping Philadelphia one week later 42-19, the 49ers again face Seattle in Week 14.

San Francisco RB Christian McCaffrey was dominant in the first matchup, recording 139 total yards on 24 touches and two rushing TDs against the Seahawks. The veteran RB remained healthy after facing the Eagles – and racking up 133 total yards and another score – to ready himself for this rematch.

The Seahawks enter the game fresh off their closer-than-expected loss to Dallas, a game in which Cowboys’ RBs accumulated 113 rushing yards and one rushing TD. Again, expect the 49ers to run at will against Seattle on Sunday and for McCaffrey to score in Week 14’s rematch.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (-130) (DraftKings)

After defeating the Carolina Panthers 20-17 earlier this season, the New Orleans Saints host this return match in Week 14. In that game, RB Tony Jones Jr. scored two rushing TDs against the Panthers defense. Jones was filling in for RB Alvin Kamara as he served an early-season suspension.

Kamara’s history against the Carolina Panthers has not been kind, however. In his past five games spanning three seasons, Kamara has scored only one TD against the divisional rivals – a receiving TD against Carolina in January 2023.

Yet bettors can expect Kamara to score on Sunday. The veteran RB scored twice against Detroit in Week 13, two of his five TDs this season. And Carolina’s defense is tailback-friendly as the Panthers have yielded 19 TDs to the position this season on the ground and through the air.

Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery (-105) (FanDuel)

Late in the third quarter, Detroit was trailing the Chicago Bears in their first matchup. Despite being behind, the Lions continued with their punishing run-first offensive attack, securing a 31-26 victory over their NFC North rivals in Week 11.

In that game, Lions RB David Montgomery notched 98 total offensive yards on 14 touches, including a one-yard TD run with 29 seconds remaining in the contest. Since that game, Montgomery has continued to score, recording a single TD against both the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints.

Coming off their bye week, the Bears will look to improve their defense against Detroit as Chicago gave up three total TDs to Lions’ RBs. Still, expect Montgomery to again score against his former team and push his streak to five straight games with at least one TD.

Dallas Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (+187) (Caesars)

The Dallas Cowboys nearly upset the NFC’s top team – and NFC East division leaders – in Philadelphia earlier in November. With the rematch taking place in Dallas this week, expect the Cowboys to be ready for the Eagles, especially as first place in their division is on the line.

Dallas TE Jake Ferguson was the team’s second-leading receiver in that game, notching seven receptions for 91 yards and one score. Since then, Ferguson has been productive, recording 14 catches for 170 yards and two scores in the next four games.

While the Eagles defense has stood tall, their weakness is the TE position. Philadelphia has allowed the second-most TDs to the position in 2023, a vulnerability Dallas is sure to expose Sunday. Expect Ferguson to score at least once against the Eagles to cover this wager.
