3 NBA Player Props for Tuesday, May 7

Happy Tuesday, everyone! If you’re a fan of the NBA, it’s tough to beat last night’s action. The Minnesota Timberwolves destroyed the Denver Nuggets, and the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers went down to the wire.

Both games were fun to watch for different reasons, and we hope tonight’s games provide similar levels of excitement. The Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder are facing off in the West, and in the East, the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers are also starting Game 1 of their series.

With these two games in mind, let’s take a look at our favorite player props from the action, all lines are provided by Underdog.

Live player props data coming soon for Jayson Tatum.

Jayson Tatum UNDER 27.5 Points

Jayson Tatum only scored more than 27.5 points in one game in the series against the Miami Heat. This might have been partially due to the fact that they blew out the Heat in nearly every game, but at the end of the day, the facts are the facts.

With the Celtics being nearly 12-point favorites in this game, we believe they’ll get out to a big lead early, giving players like Tatum fewer opportunities to score. Look for Tatum to score closer to 20 points than 30 in this one, making the under an easy play here.

Live player props data coming soon for Payton Pritchard.

Payton Pritchard OVER 7.5 Points

This play is directly related to our Tatum analysis above. We anticipate Pritchard to get somewhere between eight and eleven minutes in this game, a perfect opportunity for him to score at least 8 points.

If the Celtics get up early, they like giving Pritchard more opportunities, which should allow him to easily cash this Over.

Luka DoncicOver 9.5 Assists
Luka DoncicUnder 9.5 Assists

Luka Doncic OVER 10.5 Assists

This has been one of our favorite player props all season. Luka Doncic is one of those players who has an opportunity for a triple-double every game.

With that being said, he’s been more prone to score double-digit assists than any other category, especially during the playoffs. We expect Doncic and Kyrie Irving to be a lethal pairing tonight, and fully expect him to have at least 11 assists in this one.
