2023-24 NFL Best Bets for AFC, NFC, and Super Bowl

Now that the MLB All-Star is over, there are plenty of +EV opportunities on the betting board each day. That being said, it's the perfect time of the year to jump on some NFL futures.

The NFL Preseason is just days away and September will be soon. Because of that, let's take a look at some best bets for the 2023-24 AFC, NFC, and Super Bowl. For each conference and for the Super Bowl, we'll dive into a best bet and a longshot.

Best Bet to Win AFC: Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals had a rocky start to their season in 2022, after a 4-4 start, they then rattled off an impressive 10-game winning streak.

They were a top 5 defense and allowed less than 20 points per game to their opponents. The majority of the team is back included the entire core/skill players on offense.

They were 3 points away from KC in the AFC title game and will be eager for revenge this season.

Longshot to Win AFC: Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers really let us down last season when we made them the best bet for the AFC and Super Bowl. Injuries and subpar play led to a mediocre season for the Bolts.

They bolstered their defense a bit through free agency. They added another weapon for Herbert in Johnston trough the draft and picked up Gerald Everett to off free agency.

The offense should be strong as ever this season and the defense should be stronger after the additions Brandon Staley brought in.

Best Bet to Win NFC: Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles were one of the biggest surprises of the season last year as they won the division and conference but lost to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Jalen Hurts emerged as one of the best QBs in the league and utilized all the weapons at his disposal.

The one piece from last year that is not this season is Miles Sanders. He led the team’s rushing attack. The Birds added D’Andre Swift and Rashaad Penny to sure up the backfield along with Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott.

The defense added pieces through the draft in Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith from Georgia. They have all the pieces in place to make yet another run at the Super Bowl.

Longshot to Win NFC: Detroit Lions

Dan Campbell changed the Lions in just 2 short years. In year 3, he may have his squad in a spot to potentially contended for the NFC title.

They drafted Jahmyr Gibbs and brought in David Montgomery to fill the void left behind by D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams. Amon-Ra St. Brown has continued to improve in his short career.

They also bolstered their secondary with Cameron Sutton and CJ Gardner-Johnson. Don’t be shocked to see the Lions on top of the NFC North.

Super Bowl Best Bet: Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have the most complete team in the league. They will be battle tested if they make a run as they have one of the leagues toughest schedules.

If Jalen Hurts can play close to or better than how he played last season, than the Eagles have a true chance at making it back to the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl Longshot: Cincinnati Bengals

Strangely enough, we are on both Super Bowl runner-ups from the last 2 seasons as our plays for this season. We need Joe Burrow to play at a high level again in order for these Bengals to make a run to Vegas.
