The Phillies lineup finally woke up last night by scoring 10 runs on 16 hits. The win over the Giants increased the Phillies lead in the NL Wild Card to 2.5 games. I think they'll add on to that lead again tonight With Taijuan Walker on the hill.

Walker has 13 wins this season but his ERA of over 4 does scare me a little. However, San Francisco will be starting Kyle Harrison, who will be making his Major League debut. Y'all know I love fading kids making their first MLB start.

Harrison is one of the top prospects in the Giants organization, but he'll be overwhelmed against this powerful Philly's lineup. The young lefty was just 1-3with an ERA of 4.52 in Triple A this season. Let's play Philadelphia at this reasonable price.

Best Bet: Mariners (-150)

Well, we might as well run it back with the Mariners again tonight. Seattle scored a season high 14 runs last night against Chicago to win their 7th straight game. This team got really pissed at the front office for trading away their closer at the deadline, and they've been rolling ever since.

As we talked about yesterday, the White Sox have mailed this season in. I don't see their lineup doing much damage against Brian Woo, who has a lively fastball and a very good slider. The Mariners also have a huge bullpen edge in this contest.

Mike Clevinger has pitched pretty well of late for the White Sox, but the way this Mariners team is hitting they are liable to rough him up. Let's play the M's to make it 8 in a row.
