International provider of sports betting and casino games, Tipico, has announced its latest expansion into a key market in the US. The company’s popular sports betting platform is now live in Iowa. Tipico is announcing special promotions and deals for new customers to celebrate the launch.

Tipico is making big moves in the US, and they are now live in Iowa! The company has formed a partnership with Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf and received approval from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission to offer mobile-only legal sports betting.

This is their fourth active state since entering the American market - following New Jersey, Colorado, and Ohio - as they continue to expand across Middle America. Next on Tipico's list? Indiana, where it expects Harrah's Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will be involved with legal online mobile-only sports betting. It looks like business is heating up!

Will Tipico Expand into Other States Soon?

This launch means that Tipico is now live in four states across the US, having also gone live in New Jersey, Colorado, and Ohio after the state opened its legal online sports betting market earlier this month. The company plans to expand further, and Indiana is expected to be the next state to go live, where they plan to partner with Harrah's Hoosier Park Racing & Casino.

To celebrate its expansion into the United States Midwest region, Tipico is offering Iowa customers a variety of attractive promotions and cash offers. These include a $250 deposit match and free bets, now available on the company's app or website.

CEO of Tipico USA, Adrian Vella, stated: "We are thrilled to grow our footprint and give Iowa customers access to our proprietary product and competitive offering." He added, “Iowa bettors will be able to use a very simple product with fast deposits and withdrawals, experience cutting-edge functionality in live betting, SGP+ with wide coverage on player props, and can cash out anytime— including partial cash-out capabilities. To top it off, Tipico’s functionality is run from within the US with customer service based in New Jersey.”

Sports Betting Continues to Flourish in Iowa

In May 2019, Iowa welcomed the groundbreaking start of legal online sports betting when Governor Kim Reynolds signed a bill allowing it to be regulated and taxed within state lines. Following these regulations, customers initially had to complete registration in-person at one of the land-based casinos; however, this requirement expired on January 1st, 2021. Since then, retail and online outlets have rapidly sprung up just in time for football season last year, benefiting from an impressive 6.75% revenue tax.

Tipico made a massive splash in 2021 and beyond, entering into strategic partnerships to expand its presence across the U.S. In July of last year, Tipico announced an exclusive deal with Gannett's USA Today Sports Media Network, giving them increased exposure nationwide. Hot on its heels was agreements forged with Colorado Governor Jared Polis for opening a technology hub in Denver, as well as online market access granted by Caesars Entertainment partnerships in Iowa and Indiana.

To further bolster business plans, they became Major League Soccer club Columbus Crew’s official sports betting partner, then entered Ohio just this past January 1st, partnering with AEG Presents. With such impressive recent successes driving it forward, there doesn't seem to be any limits on what else Tipico can achieve!

The Future is Bright for Tipico in Iowa

The sports betting market in Iowa offers plenty of competition for Tipico, with 20 operators currently powering retail and online sports betting sites in the state. However, with its proprietary product and competitive offering, Tipico can capture a market share. The company's strong emphasis on user-friendly functionality, fast deposits and withdrawals, and live betting options will appeal to sports bettors looking for a seamless and efficient betting experience.

Overall, the launch of Tipico in Iowa is a significant milestone for the company as it continues to expand its reach and establish itself as a powerful player in the legal sports betting market in the US. As the legal sports betting market continues to grow in the US, Tipico's expansion into Iowa clearly indicates its ambition to become a significant player in the industry.
