DBU vs. Arizona Betting Guide : Our College Baseball Best Bet for Friday, March 1

As you'll clearly see with today's best bet, smaller schools that you've likely never heard of will sometimes be favored over Power 5 squads. Also, powerful hitters with aluminum bats and relief pitchers with little experience can make for even more variance than MLB games.

We were devastated by this line movement from (-145) a second before locking this in Thursday evening. This was a 2% play regardless, so we lose some value. College Baseball tends to have higher moneyline values if you are new to College Baseball wagering. Even with the big line move, there's still plenty of meat left on the bone since we personally made this line close to (-200).

Friday afternoon, we head to Texas for the Frisco College Baseball Classic. Where powerhouse #25 DBU (8-0) should capitalize here vs a struggling Arizona (4-4) squad.

Arizona is in the middle of a brutal 11 game road stretch, where they are coming off a 6-1 loss to #5 TCU. This should be a decent starting pitching matchup as both pitchers were named their conferences pitchers of the week. Ryan Johnson (1-0, 3.65 ERA, 1 BB, 20 Ks) gets the ball for DBU, while Jackson Kent (1-0, 3.00 ERA, 3 BB, 13 Ks) goes for Arizona.

Where DBU has the clear advantage is putting runs on the board. Both teams are hitting over .300, DBU(.345) and Arizona(.309), but where they differ is runs and power! DBU has amassed 88 runs, smoked 24 doubles, and bashed 18 home runs.

Arizona has scored 69 runs, notched 16 doubles, and smacked 9 home runs. As DBU boasts 8 regular starters hitting above .258, they have 8 players hitting over .300. There will be runs scored in this game, but we expect DBU to mash their way to victory in this one.
