G Tyrese Haliburton (IND) OVER 40.5 PTS+REB+AST
In what should turn out to be a must-watch game, Tyrese Haliburton and the best offense in the NBA takes on one of the best-disciplined defenses in the NBA with the Miami Heat. While the Heat have another top-tier scoring defense this season, they have given up 114.3 points in the last three games.
With Haliburton scorching hot, hitting this mark in three of his last four games while maintaining a +26 while on the floor during that span, look for his Pacers to get back on track after some rest. Not to mention, Hali has hit the 10-assist mark all but three times this season.
G Bruce Brown (IND) OVER 1.5 STL (1.5x)
While Miami prides itself on the defensive end and beating the opponent down low, they aren’t the best nor most efficient shot makers, shooting below the 47% mark this season. As for Indiana swiss-army-knife Bruce Brown, don’t look for him to secure rebounds in this game, but force Miami into some turnovers as they try and look for a better shot down low.
Brown is active on defense, securing 9 steals in the previous four games combined. Playing 30+ minutes for Carlisle and Indiana, look for him to make a big impact on the defensive end.
F Mikal Bridges (BKN) OVER 23.5 PTS
Bridges faces a Charlotte squad allowing a fourth-worst 121.8 PPG while failing to make any sort of superstar work hard against them. Here’s a list of stars to light up this poor Hornets' defensive unit: Tatum (45 PTS), Haliburton (43 PTS), Butler (32 PTS), Cam Thomas (33 PTS).
With Cam Thomas out once again, look for Bridges to pick up the offensive slack and a handful of the 20 FGA that Thomas was averaging before the injury. A reminder that Mikal dropped 24 on the Hornets earlier this season, with Thomas active.
G Jalen Brunson (NYK) OVER 9.5 REB+AST
Brunson and the Knicks have an extremely positive matchup for prop bettors against the Pistons. The 2-16 Pistons travel to MSG, where Brunson will attempt to notch his sixth game of 10 or more REB+AST in his past seven appearances.
With the Pistons allowing 27 APG and 35 RPG during their last three outings (both bottom half), expect Brunson to make an impact in nearly every stat category as this Knicks team should cruise to victory at home.
