3 Best Player Props for Monday Night Football Doubleheader

To wrap up Week 2, the NFL blesses us all with a Monday Night Football doubleheader. The Saints will travel to Charlotte to take on the Panthers in the early 7:15 PM Eastern tilt. The later 8:15 kickoff will feature two bitter rivals with the Browns facing off against the Steelers.

Get our 3 best player props right here to start cashing! Thanks for reading and best of luck with all of your action. Is it Monday yet?

Bryce Young UNDER 198.5 Passing Yards

This number is available at a couple of shops at the time of this writing, but I'm okay taking Under 196.5 if that's all you have access to. It's a little bit interesting that FanDuel is pricing this much lower at 189.5. I think FanDuel is the sharpest book for player props, so I always pay attention if their number is a bit off the market.

As a lifelong Alabama fan, I love Bryce Young. The kid has a ton of talent and a great attitude. However, as we saw last week against Atlanta, it's going to take Young quite a while to get used to the speed of the NFL.

The former Heisman Trophy winner only threw for 146 yards last week against the Falcons and the matchup this week isn't any easier. New Orleans has a pretty stout secondary with guys like Tyrann Mathieu and Marshon Lattimore flying around. The Saints tied for 2nd in yards per pass allowed last season. Let's jump on the Under!

Kenny Pickett UNDER 203.5 Passing Yards

This number is widely available at all the big boy shops like DraftKings, Caesars, and BetMGM. I like Kenny Pickett and think that he and this Steelers offense will be much improved this year. However, this number is a smidge too high in my opinion.

In 2022, Pickett's median passing yardage was 196. The former Pitt Panther also faced the Browns once last season and only threw for 195 yards. Cleveland's secondary was slightly above average last year, as they tied for 12th in yards per pass allowed.

Speaking of the Browns secondary, they made a massive statement to Joe Burrow and the Bengals in Week 1. Cleveland only allowed 2.1 yards per pass in that game, which is insanely good. Look for Denzel Ward and Grant Delpit to make it tough for Pickett to throw for many yards in this one. Let's play the Under!

Nick Chubb OVER 75.5 Rushing Yards

I wanted to bet on 3 straight Unders, but I just can't resist this play on Nick Chubb. The former Georgia Bulldog reminds me of a smaller version of Derrick Henry. This kid is a true workhorse that can carry the ball 30 times per game if needed.

The Steelers usually have a tough rush defense, but they were just gashed on the ground by San Francisco last week. Pittsburgh gave up 5.5 yards per carry in that one, which is more than a bit concerning. They obviously miss Cam Heyward in the middle of that D-line.

Back to Chubb, last season his median was 92 rushing yards. That's quite a bit higher than this number. Chubb also went over 75.5 rushing yards in 13 of 17 games last year. Let's ride the Over with Mr. Chubb!
