WNBA Tuesday Predictions Guide: 3 Player Props for July 15

It’s All-Star week in the WNBA! Before we get to Indy, Caitlin Clark and the Fever look to make it three straight victories against the Sun.

Expect Clark to dominate with her playmaking while staying cold from beyond the arc. In Los Angeles, Kelsey Plum needs to have a big night for the Sparks to head into the break with positive energy as they host the young and surprising Mystics.

Caitlin Clark (IND) UNDER 17.5 Points

Caitlin Clark still has one of the more unbelievable stats when playing away from home this season, shooting 29/4/86 splits from the field. In a small sample size of just four games, she has scored just 11.8 PPG in away games as the struggling Fever look to head into the All-Star break two games above .500 against the Sun on ESPN.

Caitlin hasn’t scored 20 or more points in six straight outings, while shooting less than 35% from the field in each of these outings. There is real concern with her shot and play style at the moment, and against a Sun team that will force her into a playmaker role, we will ride the under into the mid-season break.

Caitlin Clark (IND) OVER 8.5 Assists

While the shooting has yet to be found this season, Clark’s playmaking is off the charts. She is averaging 9.0 APG while the Fever as a team has averaged 20.3 APG on the year.

She is a force on offense, commanding multiple defenders at a time and against a Sun defense allowing 88.1 PPG, including the best FG% and 3rd best 3PT%, the 3-18 rebuilding franchise might be in for a long night as Indiana will most likely head into the All-Star break winning three straight games. Clark has averaged 8.9 APG in wins this year (7-5 when playing).

Kelsey Plum (LAS) OVER 17.5 Points

How about some love for KP as we get to the mid-season point. There is a real chance that Plum sets LA Sparks records in free throws, assists, points, and threes in a single season if she keeps up her All-Star level play.

She is shooting 37% from deep at home this year and with LA needing a victory to head into a break with a small chance at postseason play, I think KP leaves it all on the floor tonight against a Washington team that hasn’t played the Sparks all season.

Plum has hit this mark in five of her last seven outings. In what should be a tightly contested game at home, Kelsey will have the volume and aggression to get to this mark tonight.
