BetRivers is a fast-growing sportsbook and casino that is currently available in 16 U.S. states and Ontario. This is yet another solid option in the betting marketplace to shop for odds and take advantage of promotions, bonuses, and rewards from the first login.
We took their app for a spin and want to share what we found while highlighting an existing first-time wager promotion that should give new users more comfort when trying a new book.

BetRivers Sportsbook and Casino offers legal sports betting and online casino games in the United States and Ontario, Canada.
The BetRivers Sportsbook app is available in 16 U.S. states, including Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The BetRivers Casino app is available in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
In addition to these U.S. markets, BetRivers Sportsbook and Casino are available in Ontario.
BetRivers is a subsidiary of Rush Street Interactive and is associated with SugarHouse casinos that bettors may be familiar with from brick-and-mortar wagering. BetRivers has spread from coast to coast with this partnership in place. The ability for account holders to also make wagers at physical sportsbooks is a nice compliment to using the app.
With an enticing promo offer of a second-chance bet up to $500, depending on your state, it's an opportune time to sign up and become a BetRivers member. Find where BetRivers is available, who is eligible to use the app, and what bonus offers are available in the table below.

Users will find BetRivers' app easy to understand and navigate from the first time. Players are dropped into the live wagering options after signing up and making their first deposit.
From there, users can scroll vertically to find the prospects for games/matches in progress, expand or collapse any leagues that aren't of interest or take up too much space, or scroll horizontally along the bar at the top of the screen to find their desired sport or league.
The images associated with the league and sports options make it abundantly clear where to find the odds players are searching for.
Their search feature also allows members to isolate the sports, league, team, or player that has eligible offerings for placing bets. It works smoothly and quickly.
One area we found BetRivers truly excelled was the overall betting experience. We are huge advocates for shopping odds for every bet you place, however, BetRivers' juice is so low you can almost skip that step and assume you're getting the best price.
As soon as multiple selections populate in the bet slip, typically as soon as they're clicked, the parlay and round-robin options appear. Within the parlay build screen, it's easy to see the list of games included with associated odds, allowing users to remove any one leg with one click.
The Teaser+ dropdown will also appear below the list of selected wagers where eligible. When expanded, this section will display the options for 6, 6.5, 7, and 10-point teasers, along with matching reverse teaser options and the correlating odds.
This is one of our favorite parts of the user experience. With several betting apps and sites, players must manually enter their wager amount with the keypad. Not a huge hassle, but it requires a few keystrokes.
BetRivers members have one-click dollar amount options on-screen to increase their wagers in increments of $1, $5, $10, $50, and $100, in addition to the ability to make changes by specific dollar amounts from 0-9 and add in a decimal if they'd like to make a bet with a non-round number.
It's a relatively small feature, but it makes the experience of placing a wager that much simpler and more enjoyable.
The BetRivers Sportsbook app offers real-time action across a seriously wide berth of domestic and international sports. The spectrum of options starts from the four major sports in the U.S. and expands to offerings like European women's handball.
We wagered on an English Premier League match pre-game and used the app to monitor updates throughout the first half. BetRivers has an easy-to-follow display that shows the field, which team has the ball and where, and updates the user with what's going on during the action as it unfolds.
These updates included changes in possession, the development of a team's attack on their opponent's half of the field, locations of any set pieces given after fouls, graphics that display attempted shots, shots that were on target or missed the net, and the resulting outcome.
The odds for live wagers, such as the next team to win a corner kick for the soccer match, update in real-time below the live graphics.
We checked on a live Euroleague basketball game in the fourth quarter for those who like to get deep in the weeds of sportsbook offerings. The BetRivers app presented an option to view the live stream, which worked immediately upon being clicked. The feed was consistent and had good audio to boot.
We mentioned the breadth of options available to bettors in terms of sport, league, team, and player, and it's worth re-emphasizing.
Whether it's a spread, total, or moneyline number that users have sought, a particular futures opportunity, or player/game props, the BetRivers app is intuitive and guides players to the right place.
The odds are competitive with other sportsbooks in all wagering areas we covered, and we were offered same game parlay options across NFL, NBA, NCAAF, and European soccer leagues, too.
We recently completed an 8-week study of player prop odds, tracking the juice applied to player props with identical odds. BetRivers came in second overall (out of 13 sportsbooks), trailing only DraftKings Sportsbook.
BetRivers is offering first-time players the chance to place a risk-free initial wager of up to $500 with their latest sign-on promotion. The code "SPORTS" will activate this offer and applies to any deposit of at least $10 upon registering to join the sportsbook through their app or online. Make sure to verify the amount eligible in your state since it does vary by location.
Creating an account and making a first deposit with BetRivers is a pretty seamless process. We signed up and deposited within five minutes of downloading the app.
The one deposit offer we thought needed to be included was the ability to use payment apps such as PayPal or Venmo to move funds into a BetRivers account. That said, connecting a bank account took less than two minutes to complete and we were up and running quickly.
As players make wagers over time, these add up to points in the Bonus Store. These points can be traded for free play, profit boosts, and bonus money as desired, another welcome offering.
Another positive thing about BetRivers is their rewards program. Every customer is automatically enrolled in iRush Rewards, which is one of the top rewards programs in the country.
The program offers 11 different tiers of rewards, from BetRivers swag to a VIP Thank You dinner! Rush Street Interactive knows how to show its customers a little extra love. So if you're looking beyond just the BetRivers welcome bonus, you might find that their rewards program is worth looking into.
As far as support is concerned, BetRivers is better than most US sportsbooks at the moment. The typical online sportsbook currently offers support by email only, and a handful offer chat support. Luckily for BetRivers customers, they are one of the few books that offer live chat support.
Live chat support is available 24/7/365, which makes BetRivers one of only a handful of sportsbooks that offers around-the-clock live support. Even if betting on European soccer, 9:30 a.m. gives you plenty of time to get answers to your questions. BetRivers does not offer phone support at the moment, but Rush Street Interactive could change that in the near future.
BetRivers sports a 4.4-star rating on the Apple App Store from over 2,500 reviews. Most of these submissions have come with five-star ratings, noting excellent customer service experiences and appreciation for bonus offerings.
On Android's Play Store marketplace, BetRivers has struggled to impress customers to the same degree. It's not uncommon to see the same apps have higher ratings through the App Store, although this is a broader dispersion than others. They're currently showing a 3.6-star rating with around 1,100 reviews submitted.
After some combing through the user-submitted reviews, the most common reasons for negative reviews stem from customers noting issues with the speed and ease of withdrawing available funds and inconsistent geolocation that interrupted the particular casino game they were playing at the time.
From experience, withdrawing funds was relatively straightforward after making an initial deposit from a linked bank account. The app states the ACH transfer should take 3-5 business days to arrive. If that changes, we'll be sure to update this review.

Play Store Rating | 3.6 (1,200 Reviews) |

BetRivers has been an established name in the sports betting industry for quite some time. That said, we know that new sports bettors are entering the market daily.
Because of this, we have created the following FAQ sections to help folks find the information they need in a quick manner. Reach out to us if you'd like to have a question about BetRivers answered here.
BetRivers has been a major player in the US sports betting realm since 2016. The BetRivers brand is owned by Rush Street Interactive, one of the most respected names in the business. Folks can bet with confidence at BetRivers, knowing that their money and personal info are kept secure.
Just about anything you can dream up! There is no shortage of betting options at BetRivers. Folks can dive into moneylines, spreads, parlays, teasers, futures, and player props.
BetRivers has lots of strengths, but they're player-friendy terms may be their best attribute. For example, BetRivers only requires a 1x rollover on their signup bonuses. That's definitely a rarity in this space and a huge advantage to gamblers.
Oh yeah, BetRivers has a very nice app. It's functional without being too flashy, which is something that most gamblers will appreciate. That said, the overall look could use a few tweaks.
As great as their bonus terms are, BetRivers could up the ante on their bonus offers every once in a while. Friendly terms are great, but it would be nice if BetRivers would offer a few Bet-Get offers like some of their competitors.
From registration to wagering, BetRivers is a solid option for bettors. It comes as no surprise that the sportsbook has continued to expand and build market share within more states. We expect that to continue.
Their easy-to-use app, live and upcoming odds availability, bonus and promo offerings, and round-the-clock customer support should give players plenty of reasons to consider becoming a BetRivers member.

I love using BetRivers because the odds are better, payouts are higher, and the customer support is way better than what the bigger sportsbooks offer.
