Founded in 1966, Caesars is one of the oldest casinos and sportsbooks currently operating in the US. Caesars has built a reputation on offering consistent lines, low juice, and an industry-best player rewards program. Caesars recently rebuilt its sportsbook app and now offers one of the best betting experiences available.
We played the part of a first-time user to get a feel for their app’s usability, how competitive the odds and wagering options are, and build an overall perspective we can share with you all here.

There is plenty to love with the new Caesars sportsbook app. The new layout is extremely user-friendly, the new $1,000 bonus offer is one of the largest in the industry, and players now get access to the iconic Caesars Rewards program.
While Caesars doesn't offer quite the variety of live betting and same game parlay options as brands like FanDuel and DraftKings, they do offer more than most U.S. sportsbooks.
Caesars Sportsbook is currently legal in AZ, CO, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, TN, VA, WV, and WY. Additionally, Caesars offers online sports betting and casino in Ontario.
Keep in mind that each state has a gaming enforcement agency that regulates its sports betting industry, so it’s important to familiarize yourself with the local laws and regulations before placing any bets.
After successfully logging in, users will see the current bonus/promotional offers, QuickPick parlay options for featured games, and the available odds for popular leagues.
A row of options across the top of the screen allows players to view a dropdown of all sports with available lines and search for a specific league or team as desired.
The row also acts as a horizontal scroll, similar to other sportsbook apps, beginning with live options and boosted odds with a count of how many selections are within those categories. Popular leagues, starting with the NFL, NBA, NHL, and NCAAF, lead the way and can be clicked without moving the screen.
On top of the pre-made QuickPick parlay options available to players across multiple sports, the app makes bundling bet results quite simple. Like other quality apps, Caesars will default to a parlay option once multiple picks are added to the bet slip.
The Parlay tab in the bet slip is between Straight bets and Multiples, what Caesars calls round-robin wagers. An icon to change a parlay into a teaser appears when the group of bet selections is eligible.
We tested this with three NBA games, where we were able to tease the point spreads and totals by 4, 5, and 6 points using a slider. No options for Sweetheart or Reverse teasers were given.
When a user decides to place one or multiple bets, the bet slip interface makes the rest easy. On the Straight bets tab, bettors can select to assign the same amount across all plays at the top of the screen or individually enter the dollar amount one by one. After making that choice, the screen pops up with default settings to increase the bet amount by $10, $25, $50, $100, and $250, in addition to a dialpad-like option for custom amounts.
To finalize and place a wager, Caesars' app makes players use a swipe-up function. This action has the effect of reinforcing the bettor's conviction when putting hard-earned money on the line. In our case, it brought on a slight feeling of immediate buyer's remorse!
It's scarcely more cumbersome from a user experience point-of-view, but the aesthetics mirror the feel of pushing your chips to the center of the table that either confirms confidence or lack thereof when submitting the wager. There is no reward without risk, and this little aspect of using the app reinforces that sentiment that all experienced bettors know.
Caesars' live betting section includes options to follow the action and an array of angles to bet on the next play, quarter, half, or game results.
After selecting a particular game from the live offerings, tabs for a Scoreboard and Game Tracker appear atop the host of ever-changing odds. The interface allows the viewable odds to be filtered by Popular, the default, which includes the full-game spread, moneyline, and total, quarter/half bets, alternate lines, team totals, team props, and others depending on the sport.
The GameTracker displays an interactive view second only to watching the game live. For a soccer match, a tracer follows the ball around the pitch and notes when teams threaten to score, have committed a foul, or turn the ball over.
The notable plays in the match, such as goals, yellow/red cards, and substitutions, are noted in a horizontal timeline above the odds, similar to the GameCast on ESPN's flagship app.
Overall, Caesars is a fairly-priced sportsbook with more variety in wagering options than most individual bettors will need. They match the other top outlets in terms of the types of sports and leagues available for bets, and the numbers they have posted are comparable to their competitors.
One aspect of user experience that could be made slightly easier applies to sports with many leagues, like soccer, golf, and auto-racing, or fight sports with weight classes or multiple events on the horizon.
To view all leagues within a sport like soccer, users should either click 'Soccer' in the horizontal scroll at the top of the home screen or click "All Soccer" when searching within the 'Menu.' Otherwise, selecting a specific league or cup from the 'Menu' section will limit viewing ability to that particular set of odds. It's a small but noticeable change in experience.
The current Caesars sign-up promotion includes a bonus bet of up to $1,000 if a new player's first wager is not a winner. The first bet must be placed within 30 days of the initial deposit.
If that first wager is graded as a loss, the bonus bet will appear in the member's account within two business days. From there, the bonus wager must be placed within 14 days, and cannot be spread out among multiple selections.
Whether your unit is $10 or $1000, Caesars wants to cover your first loss. This offer is appealing regardless of a bettor's risk tolerance and is worth consideration if one's existing outs don't have the depth of options that Caesars does.
The rewards program might be one of the best reasons to join Caesars. Aside from the ability to put earned rewards toward wagering, players can use these points toward stays, shopping, or eating at one of their iconic hotels.
Caesars Rewards is an iconic rewards program that incorporates several tiers, each with its own set of benefits. The program has a great user interface within the Caesars Sportsbook app, which makes it easy to track your points and tier status.
The rewards program is a true differentiator in the market of online sportsbooks and is a benefit potential players should not overlook.
Navigating to the customer support area requires users to select their account information at the top right of the screen next to their balance and scroll to the bottom of the list just above the option to 'Logout.'
Their Contact Us page notes that Customer Support is available 7 days a week and encourages users to take advantage of their live chat feature. We contacted customer support through live chat and were immediately connected with an agent.
In addition to live chat, there is an option to log a question in their ticketing system that takes users out of the app. From here, users are asked to provide their timezone and state and are then presented with a phone number that engages an automated service.
With 24/7 customer support and knowledgeable support agents, we can confidently say that Caesars customer support is amongst the best in the industry.
An important aspect to weigh when comparing sportsbooks is the opinions of their current player pool. We've read dozens of reviews and ratings for Caesars Sportsbook across both the App Store and Play Store to identify what current players love and hate about the app.
Caesars currently has a 4.6-star rating on the Apple App Store, with an overwhelming number of 5-star ratings among the more than 52,000 reviews. Users noted some issues with the app's interface, connectivity, and customer service interactions that didn't resolve their questions.
The app holds a 4.3-star rating on Google Play after over 22,000 reviews, again with the majority of them giving 5 stars. Users reiterated the interface and connectivity challenges they've experienced here.
