WNBA Tuesday 2 Best Bets and Top Player Prop

The WNBA season rolls on as Tuesday holds some great intra-conference battles. Out West, the Phoenix Mercury and Satou Sabally look to get revenge on the Lynx and hand them their first loss of the season in Minnesota.

The Indiana Fever are still searching for a Caitlin Clark-less win. They host Washington in a game that feels like a must-win to swing their early-season momentum.

Satou Sabally (PHX) OVER 1.5 Threes

Satou Sabally has entered herself in the MVP conversation early in the WNBA season. The newly acquired do-it-all forward has made a splash in the valley, averaging 21.3 PPG and 8.1 RPG (both top 10 in the league).

After three straight 20-point games where Sabally hit two three-pointers twice, I’m banking on the German star to have a big night against a Lynx team that stole a win in Phoenix a few nights ago where Satou cooled off in the 4th quarter, scoring 4 points in 7 minutes with a plus/minus of -7. Revenge night here for Satou.

Phoenix +10.5 over Minnesota

The Phoenix Mercury are here to play, and it’s time to bet on them before the market adjusts. Phoenix won in Los Angeles on Sunday night in a comeback victory over the Sparks.

Although LA isn’t the best team out West, this is still a huge momentum builder for a team finding their rhythm before they get their All-Star Cooper back from injury. Minnesota got Napheesa Collier back from injury on Sunday night in their 11-point win over Golden State.

The Valks shot just 26.5% from beyond the arc and 36.9% from the field yet still dropped 75 points on Minnesota. With Phoenix’s length allowing just 75.3 PPG and forcing 9.4 SPG, ranking the best in the W, I think they hang on in this game to either give the Lynx their first loss of the year or keep it close until the final buzzer.

Indiana -4 over Washington

Indiana is searching for a non-Caitlin Clark victory after starting the year 2-4 with three straight losses now by a combined 10 points. This team is good enough to win without CC, and after a brutal two-point loss to Connecticut, they should be able to get revenge against a Mystics team that is cooling off from beyond the arc after a hot start to the year.

Washington beat Indiana on May 28th at home, with Indiana shooting just 23% from downtown and turning the ball over 16 times. Now that they have had a few runs without Clark, I trust this roster to come out with a much-needed home victory behind Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston, and Lexie Hull, along with Sophie Cunningham, who can light it up from beyond the arc.
