WNBA Betting Predictions: 3 Player Props for Wednesday, August 20

Paige Bueckers continues her dominant WNBA rookie campaign against the Sparks and their top-tier offense led by Kelsey Plum, and our dark horse for producing a big Wednesday night in Rickea Jackson.

These teams met on Friday in a one-point Los Angeles victory, and as we head towards the playoff picture formulating, expect Jackson and the Sparks to continue their hot shooting from behind the arc in another shootout.

Paige Bueckers (DAL) OVER 19.5 Points

It has been a season to forget for the Dallas Wings. At 9-26, their best bet is to put the ball in Paige’s hands on each possession and let her get reps before her rookie season comes to a close. She has seen more consistency as of late, averaging 20.5 PPG in the month of August on 48% shooting from the field but just 16% from beyond the arc.

Taking on a Sparks team that allows nearly 90 PPG but scores the most points in the league at 86.6 PPG, this is a recipe for Paige to come off plenty of PnR actions and get some easy buckets. She scored 29 points on the Sparks in their meeting on Friday.

Maddy Siegrist (DAL) OVER 20.5 Points & Rebounds

Another beneficiary of a shootout, Maddy Siegrist has seen more and more action since returning to the court for Dallas. The 25-year-old wing has played 33+ minutes in three straight outings while easily hitting this prop in two out of the three.

Missing this mark on Friday against Los Angeles, I’m expecting a comeback game from Maddy, who has shot above 35% from beyond the arc on small volume. She is the X Factor tonight.

Rickea Jackson (LAS) OVER 1.5 3PM

Rickea Jackson has the green light for LA. While Kelsey Plum continues to dominate usage on the offensive end, Jackson has stepped up as an efficient number 2 at times this season.

Becoming a key part of this offense after a 30-point outburst against Vegas earlier in the year, Jackson is taking around 6 threes per contest in the month of August, converting 36.7% of those shots and 2+ from deep in seven of eight games this month. With this volume and hot streak continuing, she is a near lock for tonight’s shootout in downtown Los Angeles.
