Dream vs. Fever Predictions: 2 Player Props and Best Bet for Friday, July 11

The 12-7 Atlanta Dream take their up-and-down month of July into Indiana, where they take on Caitlin Clark and the Fever, who are searching for something to stick.

They are 9-10 on the year, but with Clark shooting 43% from beyond the arc at home compared to quite possibly one of the worst shooting seasons in basketball history away from Indianapolis, the Fever should pick up a much-needed win as we approach a much-needed All-Star break for Clark, Indiana, and the entire league.

Caitlin Clark (IND) OVER 2.5 Threes

Clark has unfortunately had one of the roughest patches of her career during the entire first half of this WNBA season – thanks in part to the commissioner of the league (we won’t get into it). However, that changes on Friday night.

Indiana is at home, where Clark has hit 4 threes per game this year in six appearances. She’s shooting 43.6% from beyond the arc at Gainbridge Fieldhouse compared to 3.6% away from home. Yes, you read that right.

The Dream doesn’t force a ton of turnovers, and with Indiana losing two in a row, I think Caitlin comes out ultra-aggressive and shoots the lights out of the gym Friday night en route to a big victory.

Aliyah Boston (IND) OVER 18.5 Points & Rebounds

Minus the Fever’s dismantling loss at the hands of the expansion Valkyries, Boston has been a huge bright spot for Indiana this season. The superstar had hit this prop in five of her last six games before that forgettable night at home a few nights ago.

She is up against an ATL squad that is shooting just 32.2% from behind the arc. Because of this, alongside the lack of turnovers from this Dream backcourt, plenty of shots will be put up, which means plenty of rebounding and outlet opportunities for Boston, who is doing a great job at becoming a two-way force as of late.

Indiana Fever vs Atlanta Dream OVER 167

The Dream have scored or allowed 90+ points in five of their last six games. Indiana is coming off a game where they scored just 61 points at home while shooting just 21/68 from the field.

This trend won’t stick, especially with Caitlin Clark’s hot shooting at home and most likely better efforts from the supporting cast in Mitchell, Hull, McDonald, and Cunningham. After not seeing each other for a month, I expect a fast-paced game where Indiana will look to push it early and often on this Atlanta squad.
