The superstitious will tell you that the number 13 is an unlucky number. But for bettors, NFL Week 13 is less unlucky than you might think. Since 2020, home teams covered the spread in an incredible 64% of contests on this “unlucky” week, giving fans and bettors alike insight to their team and favorite players’ fortunes this weekend.
For the third straight week, our predictions have hit 50% correctly. Despite the performance of our picks, the majority of these selections are underdog prop bets, giving followers a 12% profit margin off these picks. With that in mind, here are “four sure” NFL Week 13 Anytime TD prop bets to take for Sunday’s games.
Miami RB Raheem Mostert is having a banner year for the Dolphins. The 31-year-old veteran tailback is second in the NFL with 785 rushing yards while leading the league with 13 rushing TDs and the most runs over 20 yards (7 total runs 20+ yards).
The Commanders – this week’s opposition – have allowed RBs to score in six straight contests, including yielding four TDs over the past two games to players at this position. Expect Mostert to add to this misery streak for Washington fans with at least one TD score in Week 13.
Another 31-year-old player locks in his spot among the “four sure” rankings with Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen. The veteran WR entered Week 13 as the NFL’s leader in receptions (97) and targets (129). Allen has notched 1,117 yards and seven receiving TDs in 2023.
Expect Allen to add another TD to his total when the Chargers take on New England. The Patriots have allowed a WR to catch at least one TD in nine of their 11 games this season, currently ranking eight-worst in the league in allowing this position to score. With the lion’s share of targets and receptions, Allen should notch his eighth TD in Foxborough Sunday.
New York RB Breece Hall remains a standout in an otherwise moribund offense. The 2022 second-round selection out of Iowa has 569 rushing yards on 124 carries while also catching 38 passes for 320 yards. In 2023, Hall scored four times – twice on the ground and through the air.
Hall and his teammates host the Atlanta Falcons this weekend. Against RBs, the Falcons are among the league’s best as the defensive unit has not yielded a single rushing TD to this position.
Atlanta’s only TDs to tailbacks have come through the air, having surrendered only three scores to this position. With Hall being limited in the rushing game, expect the Jets to use the talented athlete in the passing game to score during this NFL Week 13 matchup.
Rookie WR Rashee Rice is making an impact for Kansas City’s offense in 2023. Rice is second on the team this season in receptions (44), targets (56), and receiving yards (527). He’s also currently tied with TE Travis Kelce for receiving TDs as both players have five apiece.
After recording scores in three of his last five outings, Rice and the Chiefs square off against the Green Bay Packers in Week 13. Through 11 games, the Packers have allowed eight TDs to WRs while yielding scores to this position in back-to-back contests. Expect Rice to add to that total Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
