Championship weekend is officially here in the NFL, which means we have just two games yet to be played before we figure out who will be in the Super Bowl! If you were to tell the average fan that we’d have these four teams left in the championship rounds at the beginning of the year, they’d probably tell you that you’re off your rocker.
Nevertheless, we’re here, and we can’t wait to watch this weekend’s action go down. We have you covered with our favorite player props from each game, starting with Sunday’s battle between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos.
Can the Broncos survive without Bo Nix at the helm? We’ll soon see. Let’s get into it!
Jarrett Stidham UNDER 199.5 Passing Yards
This might be our favorite prop of the entire weekend. Jarrett Stidham is stepping into a Denver offense that has been led by Nix for two years and hasn’t started an NFL game since 2023. He certainly has his work cut out for him against a Patriots defense that picked off C.J. Stroud four times last weekend.
Stroud somehow managed to throw for 212 yards in this game, but he’s been playing all year. Stidham doesn’t have that luxury, and we think that if the Broncos want any chance of winning this one, they’ll have to rely on their run game. We would be surprised if this backup QB achieved 150 yards in this one, so we’re fading his yardage total as a result. .
Drake Maye OVER 225.5 Passing Yards
One of the biggest calling cards for the Broncos this season has been the strength of their defense. They were one of the best teams in the league during the regular season, but they did allow Josh Allen to throw for nearly 300 yards last week.
With Drake Maye being on a bit of a hot streak, and it being recently announced that he’s a finalist for MVP, we expect him to ball out here to send his team back to the Super Bowl. He might not have Allen’s ceiling in this one, but we’re expecting at least 245 yards, so we’re taking the over as a result.
Kayshon Boutte OVER 37.5 Receiving Yards
If Underdog is going to keep undervaluing Kayshon Boutte, we’re going to keep taking the over on his receiving line. Maye trusts him with the ball in his hands in late-game scenarios, as evidenced by his deep-ball touchdown to send them to the AFC Championship.
Boutte is more than a downfield threat; he’s a legitimate option in this increasingly high-powered offense. We wouldn’t be surprised if he had another 60+ yard game, making it easy for us to take the over in this spot.
