With NFL preseason underway, let’s take a look at some season-long player props, including Trevor Lawrence’s passing yard total that should be hitting with his new and improved receiving core.
Elsewhere, Jordan Addison is trending downwards after a rough offseason in Minnesota, with changes coming at the QB position. Here are 3 season-long NFL player props that we’re betting today. Best of luck, folks!
QB Trevor Lawrence (JAX) OVER 3,500 Pass Yards
Should Trevor Lawrence stay healthy this season for Jacksonville, this is one of the best season-long prop bets on the table at the QB position. Lawrence hit the 4k mark twice before an injury-riddled 2024 campaign.
Now, he will have Brian Thomas Jr., Evan Engram, Travis Hunter, and Dyami Brown as key targets in what looks to be a bounce-back season for the Jaguars in Trevor’s 5th season in the league. T-Law faces two bottom-of-the-pack defenses in the first two weeks (Carolina and Cincy), where he should get off to a quick start in what seems to be a must-have year for the former National Champion.
RB Alvin Kamara (NO) OVER 4.5 Rush TD
We cannot forget just how explosive Alvin Kamara can be, even if he just turned 30 years old. He ran for a career-high 950 yards last season while hitting the paydirt 6 times as a runner. In this new Kellen Moore-led offense, AK will be in a much better situation and should be getting his 20 touches in space every night, instead of the 20 touches coming in bunched packages.
Moore led Pollard to 6 and 9 TDs as a two-season starter in Dallas, while Rico Dowdle had just 2 rushing TDs. Now he inherits Kamara, who is by far the most explosive running back he has worked with during his career. I think they make a connection, and Kamara finishes as a top 10 running back this season with ease.
WR Jordan Addison (MIN) UNDER 7.5 TD
With a suspension looming and the JJ McCarthy experience incoming after two great years of Cousins and Darnold, Jordan Addison is due for a regression year in the WR2 spot in Minnesota.
After starting his career with 19 touchdowns, specializing in red zone catches in one-on-one situations opposite Justin Jefferson, this season feels like it could end up as a disappointment for the Vikings, especially after the way they exited the postseason and quickly after, the Sam Darnold era.
