Across the four major fantasy football outlets, let’s take a look at where you might find some value in the middle to late rounds at the most important position in the NFL.
With Michael Penix Jr., CJ Stroud, and Justin Herbert, I can almost guarantee that these three players will outproduce their current ADP and potentially become league-winners. Check out my write-ups on each of these outstanding QBs below.
Michael Penix Jr. (ATL): ADP: QB25
I will be one of the biggest MPJ supporters this off-season as we head into Best Ball, re-drafts, and dynasty drafts. Penix had a great ending to last season, showing promise in those three games that he started for Atlanta.
Mix in an easy division with some incredible targets in Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts, Drake London, and Darnell Mooney – he has the protection and the weapons to produce some big performances through the air.
While not the most mobile Quarterback, the room for error is greater for Penix than some of the other rookie QBs and second-year players. Give me 30 total touchdowns this season for the former top 10 pick out of Washington.
CJ Stroud (HOU): ADP: QB16
Stroud went from league-winner in his rookie year to disappointment in his sophomore year. With just 20 TDs to 16 turnovers last year, I believe it when Stroud said he worked on his body and mind to become a much better player this offseason.
Adding in Christian Kirk, Nick Chubb, Jayden Higgins, and Jaylin Noel gave this team some much-needed juice on offense. With CJ facing Tennessee and Jacksonville within his first four games of the year, getting out to a quick start will be key for a bounce-back year in Texas.
Justin Herbert (LAC): ADP: QB15
After finishing as the QB12 last season with just one wideout truly making an impact on the roster, Justin Herbert and the Chargers won’t let him waste his prime with McConkey as the WR1.
Whether in a few weeks or at the deadline, I expect this team to round out their receiving core to complement the talented McConkey in the slot. Herbert threw for 23 TDs last season in 17 games. Expect this number to rise, especially with some added deep threats on the roster.
