Yankees vs. Dodgers 3 Player Props for Game 1

The World Series is finally here, and we’re in for one of the most highly anticipated matchups in quite some time. The New York Yankees are taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers, two of the best teams in league history. Ratings should be through the roof all series, especially if it goes to the expected six or seven games.

There’s a lot on the line in Game 1, so both teams will turn to their stars to put up big performances to get started in the right direction. With that narrative in mind, we’ve put together our favorite Underdog props from Game 1, hoping to sweep the board and start the World Series strong!

Live player props data coming soon for Jack Flaherty.

Jack Flaherty UNDER 5 Strikeouts

This is an interesting line for Flaherty. The Dodgers trust him on the bump for Game 1 despite him giving up eight earned runs against the New York Mets on October 18th.

He did throw a seven-inning gem against them in the prior game, but he’s been far too inconsistent for us to trust him in the long term. With that said, we’re taking the under on Flaherty’s strikeout total in this game.

The Yankees could get after him early and considering he’s not one of the more consistent strikeout guys in the league, we like his chances to force ground balls, if anything.

Live player props data coming soon for Gerrit Cole.

Gerrit Cole UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts

We’ll mostly rinse and repeat the same analysts from Flaherty. Cole hasn’t reached the five-strikeout mark since September 26th, despite winning his past three playoff starts this season.

Similar to Flaherty, Cole doesn’t always strike out a lot of batters, but he can sure get them out in other ways. Look for both pitchers to have relatively low K totals in this one, we’re taking the under on both of them.

Live player props data coming soon for Freddie Freeman.

Freddie Freeman UNDER 1.5 Hits, Runs & RBI

We knew we wanted to take a hitter with our last prop, but it was tough to sift through them. Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, or Shohei Ohtani might be the low-hanging fruit, so we ended up going in a different direction.

Freddie Freeman has been a shell of himself during the playoffs, often deferring to his teammates to come up with the bulk of the production for the Dodgers. He might come to life later in the series, but for now, we simply can’t trust him.
