Padres-Brewers NLDS Game 2 Same Game Parlay: Strikeouts, Hits, and the Over All Hit at Once

Logan Henderson’s strikeouts, Jackson Chourio’s bat, Fernando Tatis Jr.’s total bases, and the Over 7.5 team up for a four-leg SGP to attack Padres-Brewers NLDS Game 2.

Game 1 of this NLDS was an absolute nail-biter, and if Sunday’s Game 2 at American Family Field brings anywhere near that same energy, buckle up. The Brewers stole the opener 3-2 behind a go-ahead bomb from William Contreras and a two-run blast from Jackson Chourio, and now Milwaukee gets a chance to put a stranglehold on this series with its ace rookie on the mound. San Diego, meanwhile, is turning to Michael King to keep the season alive, and that’s the kind of pressure that makes for appointment viewing. This is the game where you stop watching passively and start building a same game parlay.

The Dimers model is pointing hard at the total here, flagging Over 7.5 as its top play with a 5.9% edge, and when you stack that next to what both lineups just did on Saturday, it’s easy to see why. We’re building a four-leg SGP around that number, mixing in a pitching prop from Milwaukee’s breakout arm and two bats that have been locked in all series.

Logan Henderson to Rack Up the Strikeouts

Henderson has been one of the best stories in baseball this October, and he’s bringing a 2.47 ERA and a minuscule 0.84 WHIP into his postseason debut start. Over his final seven regular-season starts he went 5-1 with a 1.93 ERA, exactly the kind of form that gets a rookie trusted with a Game 2 assignment in a tied division series. Books have him at plus money on 6+ strikeouts thrown, and against a Padres lineup that already struck out multiple times against a much more experienced Jacob Misiorowski in Game 1, this is a number worth attacking.

San Diego does have swing-and-miss issues up and down the order, and Henderson’s stuff has only gotten sharper as the calendar flipped to October. He did lose to the Padres back in August, but that was a different version of this matchup — a rookie making his 18th career start against a lineup that hadn’t seen him in the postseason spotlight yet. Expect him to miss more bats this time around.

Jackson Chourio Keeps Hitting

Chourio was the best player on the field in Game 1, and the numbers back up why he’s the most dangerous bat in this series. He’s hitting .333 against left-handed pitching this season with a .413 wOBA, and in his last 12 postseason games he’s gone 15-for-44 (.341) with four home runs. Over his last nine games overall he’s averaging exactly the kind of hits-runs-RBI production that makes him a priority target in this parlay.

Books have him at a heavily favored price to record a hit Sunday, and given he’s already gone deep off Robbie Ray and is squaring up everything Milwaukee’s lineup touches right now, fading him feels like the wrong side of this bet. He’s a focal point of the Brewers’ offense against King, and his recent form says this number should cash comfortably.

Fernando Tatis Jr. Piling Up Total Bases

Tatis has been San Diego’s best player of this postseason, and he’s shown he’s not afraid of Milwaukee’s pitching staff — he went 2-for-3 with two singles in his last head-to-head look at Jacob Misiorowski. In September alone he posted 31 hits, 19 runs, and seven stolen bases across 23 games, averaging 2.5 combined hits-runs-steals per game, elite production by any measure. Against Henderson, a righty who’s still building a track record against star-caliber hitters in high-leverage spots, Tatis projects as a strong bet to clear his total bases number.

Even in a game San Diego might ultimately lose, Tatis has shown he can produce regardless of the final score — he had six combined hits-runs-steals in Game 1 of the Wild Card Series against the Cubs. He’s the engine of this Padres offense, and betting against his bat right now means betting against the hottest hitter in this series not wearing a Brewers uniform.

The Full Parlay

Put it together and you’ve got Logan Henderson over 6+ strikeouts, Jackson Chourio to record a hit, Fernando Tatis Jr. to clear his total bases number, and the game Over 7.5 runs — the same total Dimers’ model is backing with a 5.9% edge as the single best bet on this entire slate. Both lineups have shown they can do damage against the other side’s pitching, Game 1 saw three combined home runs, and Henderson pitching deep into a strikeout-heavy outing doesn’t mean this stays low-scoring — it means the Padres’ lineup chases secondary pitching that tends to get hit in October.

This is a legitimate slate-breaker for Sunday afternoon. Milwaukee is 1-0 and feeling it, San Diego’s season is on the brink, and both of these bats have already proven they show up in the biggest moments of this series. Check your MLB odds before locking this in, but the shape of this game sets up for exactly this kind of action-packed parlay.
