MLB Monday 3 Player Props and Predictions

Happy Monday, sports fans! It’s a great time of year, with the NBA and NHL regular seasons winding down, as the playoffs are about to start. While many people are focused on those two sports, and rightly so given the excitement, the MLB season is alive and well, and some of the top teams are starting to take shape.

There are a lot of great matchups going on tonight, and we’ve got you covered with our favorite Underdog player props from the slate. With that in mind, let’s get into our favorite picks from this evening, hoping to start the week on the right track!

Paul SkenesOver 6.5 Strikeouts
Paul SkenesUnder 6.5 Strikeouts

Paul Skenes UNDER 6.5 Strikeouts

Paul Skenes is one of the best pitchers in baseball, a freak of nature since he came into the league. He’s gotten off to a bit of a rocky start to the 2025 campaign, however, totaling a 3.44 ERA through his first three appearances.

Skenes and the Pittsburgh Pirates are going against the Washington Nationals tonight, a young team with a lot of energy and momentum, and he could struggle in another outing, especially in the strikeout category.

The Nationals don’t strike out that much, around league average, so we’re taking the under on Skenes’ K line against them as a result, even though he’s already gone over that total twice on the year.

Bobby Witt Jr.Over 1.5 Total Bases

Bobby Witt Jr. OVER 1.5 Total Bases

After an MVP-caliber campaign in 2024, Bobby Witt Jr. is back at it again for the Kansas City Royals. He’s batting an impressive .305 to start the year, and by all accounts, it looks like he’s just getting started. Witt brings a lot of energy and firepower to the Royals’ offense, often a big reason why they win games with his efforts as a well-rounded ballplayer.

The Royals have been up and down all year, record-wise, but we think he’s due for another big game, this time against the New York Yankees tonight, easily achieving the over on his projected line of 1.5 total bases.

Live player props data coming soon for Joe Ryan.

Joe Ryan UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts

This line is far too high for our liking tonight. Joe Ryan and the Minnesota Twins are squaring off against the New York Mets, a team that has a bottom-five strikeout rating among their counterparts.

The Mets have been mashing lately, and the Twins have not, mostly due to their pitching woes and offensive struggles. Joe Ryan, the Twins’ ace, has looked good in his three outings this year, but we’re projecting him to have a down game against the Mets, who aren’t afraid to tee off against a struggling pitcher.

Look for Ryan to have less than six Ks tonight, leaving earlier than usual in this one.
