Best MLB Player Props to Back Today: Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, Hunter Goodman

Aaron Judge and Juan Soto headline a Subway Series prop showdown, while Hunter Goodman’s Coors Field power adds a mixed-slate long shot worth backing today.

Subway Series weekend always brings something a little extra, and this slate has three prop angles worth circling before first pitch. Two of them live in the same Yankees-Mets game, where a pair of former MVPs are lined up to do damage, and the third comes from Coors Field, where the ball carries and Hunter Goodman has turned into one of the most reliable power threats in baseball nobody outside Denver is talking about enough.

None of these are gut-feeling picks. Each one is backed by a real, current-season track record that makes the sportsbook number look beatable. Here’s the best of the board.

Aaron Judge to Go Deep (and Do a Little Bit of Everything) vs. the Mets

Aaron Judge sits at +210 to hit a home run in this one, and on the surface that looks like standard-issue Judge pricing. Dig into the season line, though, and it starts to look generous. The Yankees captain has 17 home runs through 62 games this year, which works out to going deep in roughly 25.8% of his games played. A number that high against a full-season HR price of +210 is the kind of gap that gets sharp bettors’ attention.

The correlated angle here might be even better. Judge’s Hits + Runs + RBIs Over 1.5 is priced between -114 and -120, and given how often he’s reaching base, scoring, and driving in runs in the same game, that combined total feels like a lower-variance way to get exposure to the same production without needing the ball to actually leave the yard. Judge doesn’t need a home run to clear 1.5 combined — a single, a run scored, and one RBI gets there on its own, and he’s shown all season he can produce multiple categories in the same afternoon.

Stack the props and you get two ways to profit from the same underlying trend: Judge is running hot, and a rivalry game against the Mets isn’t the spot he’s likely to go quiet.

Juan Soto’s RBI Floor Is Being Underpriced

On the other side of the crosstown rivalry, Juan Soto’s Over 0.5 RBIs sits at +160 to +180 depending on the book, and the numbers say that price should be tighter. Soto’s projected RBI total for this matchup comes in around 0.69, a difference of roughly +0.2 runs above the implied break-even point on that line — which works out to an expected value edge of about 17.56%. That’s a real, quantifiable gap between what the market is pricing and what the projection says should happen.

Soto isn’t just a walks-and-OBP guy in this spot, either. He’s got 24 home runs in 96 games this season, and his HR price for this game sits at +250 — a live long-shot angle if you want to pair it with the RBI over as a mini-parlay. Even without the homer, Soto driving in at least one run is the more probable outcome, and the plus-money price on it makes this one of the cleaner value plays on the board today.

Hunter Goodman Keeps Running Into Baseballs at Coors

Hunter Goodman doesn’t get the national attention Judge and Soto do, but the Rockies slugger has quietly built one of the more impressive power seasons in baseball: 37 home runs in 127 games, a home run rate of 22.8% per game played. At +285 to hit one out against the Tigers, that price is well behind where his actual production says it should be.

Playing in Coors Field’s thin air only adds to the case — anyone who’s watched the Rockies this season knows fly balls travel differently at altitude, and Goodman has been one of the primary beneficiaries. A hitter going deep in nearly one out of every four games he plays, at a number north of +280, is exactly the kind of mispriced long shot that’s worth a small piece of your parlay or a standalone bet.

Today’s Edge

Two rivalry-game stars and a Coors Field slugger who doesn’t get enough credit — that’s the board today. Check your MLB odds before locking anything in, since lines move closer to first pitch, but here’s where things stand right now:

  • Aaron Judge To Hit a Home Run vs. Mets (+210) / Hits+Runs+RBIs Over 1.5 (-114 to -120)
  • Juan Soto Over 0.5 RBIs vs. Yankees (+160 to +180)
  • Hunter Goodman To Hit a Home Run vs. Tigers (+285)

Whether you’re building a same game parlay or just picking off the best single value on the slate, these three give you multiple ways to cash — a superstar rivalry, an underpriced RBI number, and a Coors Field long shot that’s earned its price drop.
