Our MLB player props have struggled out of the gate to a 6-8 record so far. We went 0-2 our last time out last Wednesday. Lucas Giolito busted our under on his strikeouts prop, and Franciso Lindor broke out of his hitting slump to ruin our Under 0.5 runs play.
The good news is that it's early, and we're getting most of our bad luck out of the way. When the tide eventually turns, the winnings will be huge. We just have to stick to the system and trust the process.

McNeil has gotten off to a slow start, but we're expecting him to turn things around very soon. He's only hitting .218, but keep in mind that the 31-year-old is a career .304 hitter. That means that McNeil is due for some positive regression.
Dustin May has been dealing to start 2023, but McNeil has a short, compact swing that can get him at least one single tonight in LA. Even if McNeil struggles against May, he should feast against this Dodgers bullpen. LA relievers have an ERA of 4.76 so far this season. Take the Over!
The Oakland A's may end up being the worst team in Major League Baseball. However, Capel is a 25-year-old outfielder that has some nice potential. We think he gets at least one hit tonight against Hayden Wesneski.
The Cubs right-hander has a robust ERA of 7.50, and he couldn't get out of the 2nd inning in his last start against the Mariners. Wesneski should do much better against this depleted Oakland lineup, but Capel should see some nice pitches to hit. Let's ride with the Over.
This is probably our favorite Underdog prop of the evening. Gurriel is facing Logan Webb tonight, and he has a .600 career batting average against him. Webb has been awful so far in 2023, as his hard-hit rate is a whopping 48.9%.
Looking further into Webb's numbers makes us like this Gurriel prop even more. Webb has a FIP of 4.32 and a BABIP of .341.
Gurriel is seeing the ball well so far this year, as he's hitting .300 through his first 30 at-bats. Look for Yuli to bring home at least 1 single tonight to cash this Over.
