Happy Wednesday, everyone! I’m calling last night’s picks a sweep, as Michael Lorenzen’s strikeout total pushed. It was a great slate of baseball last night, and we’re expecting more of the same in tonight’s games.
There are 15 more games taking place tonight, a perfect opportunity for us to take down the slate with some fantastic player prop values. With that being said, let’s go over our favorite plays for tonight’s games. All player props are found on PrizePicks.
We almost feel bad for Zach Neal heading into tonight’s game. The Oakland Athletics are facing off against the red-hot Seattle Mariners, who are doing everything they can to win the division.
After the Mariners fell in embarrassing fashion to the A’s yesterday, we’re expecting a massive bounceback today. Neal hasn’t struck out more than four batters all season, and we’re certainly not expecting him to do so today.
Look for the Mariners to tee off against him today, resulting in an early exit for Neal. Don’t get cute with his over today, it’s not happening.
We’re as confident in Dunning hitting his over as we are with Neal’s under. Dunning and the Texas Rangers are on a similar mission as the Mariners.
They are in desperate need of some wins, trying to solidify themselves as the division leaders. Dunning has struck out at least four batters in his last six starts, including a 12 and 11-strikeout performance.
The New York Mets don’t have a lot to play for, resulting in their spirits being in the toilet. Look for Dunning to make quick work of this roster tonight, smashing his over of four K’s.
Parker Meadows has been a bright spot in what has been an otherwise uninspiring Detroit Tigers team. He has totaled at least three bases in three of his past five games, a streak we believe he will continue tonight.
Gerrit Cole has given up plenty of hits in his last few starts, the perfect formula for Meadows to get at least one hit. Look for him to hit this over early on in the game, perhaps even in his first AB.
