How is it June 20th already? Seriously, it feels like the MLB season just started. With the year flying by, that means that the MLB All-Star Break is nearly upon us, giving us a pretty good idea of where our favorite teams stand.
We also know how a lot of the top players in the league are performing, which should give us some confidence from a betting perspective. Considering the fact that there are nine games on the slate today, we had to head over to Underdog and take a look at some of the top player props.
We’ve put together three of our favorites, hoping to sweep the board. Come have some fun with us!
We were honestly surprised to see that Underdog was offering a boost with this line, as Luis Castillo has been on an absolute tear lately! Castillo has had at least five strikeouts in three of his last four starts, including a seven K outing against the Texas Rangers last week.
The Cleveland Guardians are certainly hitting well at the moment, but not well enough for us to stray away from Castillo’s line in this spot.

Bobby Witt Jr. | Under 1.5 Total Bases |
Bobby Witt Jr. has turned into the prince that was promised for the Kansas City Royals. After being one of the most highly touted prospects in recent history, Witt has burst on the scene this season and leads the league in batting average.
We love Witt’s chances of keeping the bat hot today against the Oakland Athletics, which is why we’re hammering the over on his total bases.
Don’t get it twisted, Luis Gill is having a fantastic season to this point. He’s 9-1 on the year, making him one of the best pitchers in baseball by record alone.
He’s had a few dominant strikeout games on the year, racking up nine against the Los Angeles Angels and Tampa Bay Rays, and an impressive 14 K’s against the Chicago White Sox. However, he’s facing off against the Baltimore Orioles today, one of the best overall hitting teams in the league.
They don’t strikeout as much as the other teams he’s faced off against, so we’re taking the under on his K line as a result.
