College Football Conference Championship Week is here, and this is going to be fun! The first year with the expanded playoffs and a couple of these games will surely change the final layout of everything.
For this article, we are going to some MACTION as we have a fantastic game brewing in Detroit, Michigan. We have two battle-tested teams, two familiar teams, and one team looking for redemption. Will they get it?

Miami (OH) Is A Tough Matchup!
These two teams met back in October, which saw Miami put a rather large beatdown on Ohio. Miami was up 30-6 to start the 4th quarter and had done it in pretty dominant fashion. They created 2 turnovers, and shut down Ohio’s rushing attack, allowing just 3.3 yards per carry, compared to Miami’s 5 yards per carry.
Ohio also failed to slow down Brett Gabbert who threw for 3 touchdowns and a 67% completion percentage. Miami has the better athletes of the two teams and also played a tougher schedule, which will add to their experience. Miami’s defense ranks 12th in the country allowing just 17.3 points per game, and Ohio may struggle again!
The Better QB
There is another angle in this game, as some may not know Miami won this championship game last season 23-14, over Toledo, but Brett Gabbert did not play. Gabbert was out with an injury and I do believe he is motivated to put on a winning performance.
Gabbert is the better quarterback of the two in this game, which matters a lot. We know Ohio likes to run the ball, but if they can’t again, they will have to rely on Parker Navarro. Navarro, who is a scrambler, has 10 passing TDs to 10 INTs this season.
If Miami can make them one dimensional, I really like this spot for them to repeat as champs. Gabbert is the more reliable QB in this spot, I trust Chuck Martin, the head coach of Miami to make the right adjustments when needed, and Miami should find a way to win this and spoil the revenge party for Ohio.
My Best Bet: Miami (OH) -2 (-110) Caesars
