Dodgers-Diamondbacks Same Game Parlay: Yamamoto, Ohtani, and Freeman Headline the Play

A four-leg same game parlay for Dodgers-Diamondbacks: Yamamoto strikeouts, Ohtani and Freeman total bases, and the LAD moneyline.

Shohei Ohtani batting for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Arizona Diamondbacks

The Dodgers are rolling into Chase Field for a Saturday night showdown with the Diamondbacks, and this one has all the ingredients for a fun same game parlay. Yoshinobu Yamamoto takes the mound for Los Angeles looking to keep his brilliant season going, Shohei Ohtani is locked into the middle of the lineup, and Arizona is going to need a lot to go right against a Dodgers club that’s been the class of the National League. First pitch is set for 8:10 p.m. ET, and this parlay is built to cash while you’re kicking back with a snack and watching the desert lights come on at Chase Field.

We’re stacking four legs here: Dodgers on the moneyline, Yamamoto going over his strikeout total, Ohtani clearing his total bases number, and Freddie Freeman doing the same. Individually these are all strong, verifiable numbers off tonight’s board. Strung together, they tell the story of exactly how this game should play out if the Dodgers do what they’re favored to do.

Dodgers Moneyline: Let Yamamoto and the Lineup Handle Business

Los Angeles is sitting at 69-47 on the year and rolls in as a healthy favorite at -178, with Arizona getting a bump to +147 on the road side of the ledger. The Diamondbacks are a respectable 62-55, but they’re being asked to beat a Dodgers team that’s simply been better from top to bottom, and Vegas is not shy about it.

Part of that price is the pitching matchup. Yamamoto has been one of the most reliable arms in baseball this year at 11-7 with a 2.76 ERA and a tidy 0.88 WHIP, numbers that put him firmly in the Cy Young conversation. Brandon Pfaadt has had a nice season of his own for Arizona at 6-1 with a 3.66 ERA, but this is a step up in competition, and the Dodgers lineup he’s staring down has the top of the order stacked with former MVPs.

Betting the moneyline here isn’t the flashiest way to build a parlay, but it’s the anchor leg that ties everything else together. If Yamamoto pitches like he has all season and the big bats do their thing, the Dodgers should be able to close this one out comfortably.

Yamamoto Over 5.5 Strikeouts: Let Him Cook

Yamamoto’s strikeout prop for tonight sits at 5.5, and he’s been living well above that number all year — he’s averaging just over six strikeouts per start across 20 outings in 2026, backed by 121 strikeouts in 133.2 innings on the season. That’s a swing-and-miss arm at a level Arizona hasn’t had to deal with much this year.

The Diamondbacks lineup isn’t a punchless group, but they’re not exactly a contact-first bunch either, and Yamamoto’s splitter has given right-handed and left-handed hitters fits all season. Getting to six strikeouts through five or six innings feels well within reach for a pitcher who’s cleared this number in the clear majority of his starts.

Ohtani and Freeman Total Bases: The Lineup Engine

Shohei Ohtani’s total bases line for tonight sits at 2.5, and betting the over on the game’s best all-around player against a Pfaadt-led staff feels like exactly the kind of thing this parlay was made for. Ohtani is hitting .296 with 26 home runs and a .552 slugging percentage on the year, and a multi-hit or extra-base night is never far away when he steps into the box against a pitcher who’s had his own share of homer troubles this season.

Freddie Freeman rounds out the parlay at a 1.5 total bases line of his own. Freeman has been one of the steadiest bats in the sport for years, and against a Diamondbacks pitching staff that’s had to grind through a long summer, a double or a two-hit game to clear that number is a very reasonable ask. Stack Ohtani and Freeman together and you’re leaning on two of the most dangerous hitters in the sport doing what they usually do.

The Full Parlay

Put it all together and you’ve got the Dodgers on the moneyline, Yamamoto going over 5.5 strikeouts, Ohtani clearing 2.5 total bases, and Freeman clearing 1.5 total bases. Every leg leans on a player or team performing at or near their established 2026 level, which is exactly the recipe for a same game parlay that has a real shot to hit. Check your sportsbook for the combined price on this one, since payouts shift by the minute, but this is as clean a four-legger as you’ll find on tonight’s slate. If you want to shop lines or explore other same game parlays before locking this one in, it’s worth a quick look at what else is out there tonight.
