Chiefs vs Jaguars 3 Player Props and Best Bet for Monday

The NFL schedule is providing fans with an exciting matchup as the Kansas City Chiefs (2-2) head south to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1) for the primetime Monday Night Football matchup.

Kansas City struggled out of the gate, dropping decisions to the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles to start the season. Since losing those games, the Chiefs have rebounded with resounding wins over the New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens in back-to-back games.

The Jaguars are a few plays away from being undefeated. Outside of a 31-27 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville has defeated everyone else on its schedule to secure its spot among the best teams in the AFC South.

Can the Chiefs pull off some Monday night magic and upend the Jaguars? We’ll cover that and provide bettors with our top three player props as well for this exciting matchup between Kansas City and Jacksonville.

Patrick MahomesOver 242.5 Pass Yards
Patrick MahomesUnder 247.5 Pass Yards

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes OVER 248.5 Passing Yards

At 30, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes hasn’t shown signs of slowing down. He’s completed 61 percent of his passes in 2025, recording 939 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and only one interception.

The two-time MVP finally has some healthy weapons, too. That’s giving bettors confidence he’ll be up to the task on Monday against the Jaguars. Mahomes owns a 9-3 record in this primetime slot, and he’s passed for over 250 yards on seven of those occasions. Bettors should expect him to do so an eighth time versus the Jaguars, covering his passing prop wager.

Live player props data coming soon for Travis Etienne Jr..

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne OVER 63.5 Rushing Yards

The scuttlebutt heading into this season was that Jaguars running back Travis Etienne would be sharing the backfield with multiple athletes, including Tank Bigsby. Jacksonville shut that down with their midseason trade to Philadelphia, shipping Bigsby there instead.

Etienne has responded with big performances for the Jaguars. He’s notched at least 56 yards in all four games, receiving at least 14 carries in each contest. Last week, he popped for 124 yards in a win over the 49ers, and bettors should expect the same on Monday against Kansas City. Take the over on this player prop bet.

Xavier WorthyOver 28.5 Reception Yards
Xavier WorthyUnder 31.5 Reception Yards

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy OVER 55.5 Receiving Yards

After a fantastic rookie debut in 2024, the Chiefs had big expectations for wide receiver Xavier Worthy. A year ago, he finished with 59 receptions for 683 yards and six touchdowns. A 1,000-yard receiving season was the baseline prediction heading into his sophomore campaign.

His performance against Baltimore should ease bettors’ minds heading into this contest. Worthy nabbed five of his eight targets, finishing with 83 yards in Week 4. Expect him to post similar numbers on Monday, covering his player prop bet.

Best Bet: Jacksonville (+3.5)

The Chiefs are back on track after their season-opening losses. Kansas City’s defense has done its job, but Mahomes struggled to lead his offense into the end zone. The three-time Super Bowl champions seemed to rectify that against Baltimore, posting 37 points against the Ravens.

Jacksonville’s defense has also been stout this season, which makes predicting the total points scored in this game difficult. There are arguments to make for taking both the under and over 45.5-point mark, so we’ll avoid that wager.

What isn’t up for debate is how much better the Jaguars are this season. Under first-year head coach Liam Coen, Jacksonville has defeated perhaps one of the NFC’s best teams in San Francisco, and their win over Houston was important. That’s why bettors should take the Jaguars to keep this game close, either losing by a field goal or winning this marquee game.
