A battle of undefeated teams takes place in Florida on Sunday when the Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) head south to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-0) at 1 p.m.
Philadelphia has faced three potential playoff teams, earning a one-score victory each time. Last week, the Eagles needed a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to defeat the Los Angeles Rams. It was their first time this season not owning the lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Tampa Bay is a walk-off field goal away from being 2-1. The Buccaneers scored a 29-27 victory over the New York Jets last week as Chase McLaughlin hit a 36-yarder for the go-ahead score.
Will this week’s game between the Eagles and the Buccaneers produce another down-to-the-wire finish? We’ll cover that and provide bettors with our top three player prop bets for this contest.
Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley UNDER 81.5 Rushing Yards
Last year, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley joined an elite club of running backs who have finished with 2,000 rushing yards in a single season. Thus far, he’s not been nearly as effective, gaining just 194 rushing yards on 58 carries in 2025.
On Sunday, he’ll face a Buccaneers defense that has allowed only 52 rushing yards to opponents this season. While Tampa Bay hasn’t faced a runner as strong as Barkley, expect their defense to hold firm in this matchup and keep the 28-year-old from reaching his player prop total.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield UNDER 223.5 Passing Yards
In his third season with the Buccaneers, quarterback Baker Mayfield continues to evolve. Last season, he posted a personal best 4,500 passing yards and 41 touchdowns as he led Tampa Bay’s pass-friendly offense.
Thus far, Mayfield hasn’t been called upon to replicate those eye-popping stats. The 6-foot-1 veteran has just 615 passing yards and six touchdowns in his initial three outings, completing only 61.6 percent of his passes.
That’s one of several reasons bettors should take the under on Mayfield’s passing yards prop. Running back Bucky Irving’s emergence as a threat has helped Tampa Bay balance its offensive attack. And finally, the Eagles haven’t allowed a single quarterback to finish above 200 passing yards this season.
Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts To Record A Touchdown (-135)
The Eagles have made the “Tush Push” one of the most controversial moves in the NFL. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been the beneficiary, recording double-digit rushing touchdowns in each of the past four seasons.
This year, he’s already recorded four touchdowns in his first three games, scoring at least once in each contest. Expect that trend to continue on Sunday against the Buccaneers despite Tampa Bay having allowed only one rushing touchdown to a quarterback thus far.
Best Bet: OVER 44.5 Points
These two teams have had one-sided affairs over the past three meetings, including in the 2024 NFL playoffs. Tampa Bay has won six of the past seven games, and the Buccaneers are 3.5-point underdogs heading into this game.
While there’s a case to take the Buccaneers, the best bet would be to take the over on the points. Four of the past six games have finished above the 45-point threshold for this contest, and bettors should expect this outing to follow that trend.
