Vikings vs Titans 3 Player Props and Best Bet for Friday

We’re almost there! The final NFL preseason games kicked off Thursday and continue on Friday when the Minnesota Vikings travel to Tennessee to face the Titans in both franchises’ final contest before the regular season begins.

Minnesota and Tennessee have identical 1-1 records heading into this matchup. The Vikings defeated the Houston Texans to start the preseason before dropping a 20-12 decision to the New England Patriots.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers easily handled the Titans to start the preseason. Last week, the AFC South franchise rebounded to claim a 23-20 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, showing their improvement thus far.

Can Pittsburgh or Carolina wrap up its preseason schedule with a victory and a winning record? We’ll cover that and provide our top player props from Friday’s game below.

Tennessee Titans’ QB Cam Ward OVER 54.5 Passing Yards

Cam Ward was the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft, and expectations are high for the rookie quarterback. While no one is projecting Tennessee to make a deep postseason run, analysts believe Ward will help elevate the Titans above their 3-14 record last season.

The preseason has been very brief for Ward. He’s played in just five series thus far, attempting only 15 passes in his previous two games. The signal-caller is starting in Friday’s finale, but don’t expect him to play more than two or three series.

Still, take the over on this play prop bet. Expect the Titans to showcase the talented rookie, helping him build confidence ahead of the 2025 season opener, and he’ll reward them by throwing

Minnesota Vikings’ K Will Reichard OVER 1.5 PAT Made

The Vikings have relied on kicker Will Reichard to score this preseason. In two outings thus far, Reichard has nailed six field goal attempts, making him by far the leading scorer for Minnesota in the preseason.

Tonight, he’ll have a little tougher road as his starters will miss the game. Still, there’s plenty of reason to believe that Reichard will make his way onto the scoreboard, and bettors should take the over on this PAT prop bet.

Tennessee Titans’ WR Calvin Ridley UNDER 15.5 Receiving Yards

Perhaps one of the happiest Titans to see Ward walk through the door is veteran receiver Calvin Ridley. Last season, Ridley recorded 1,017 yards on 64 receptions, but he netted only four scores with the Tennessee quarterbacks throwing to him.

This season, Ward will look Ridley’s way early and often. But don’t count on that connection paying dividends tonight. Expect Ridley to finish the game under 16 yards receiving, paying off bettors’ wagers that he will not cover this prop bet on Friday.

Best Bet: Minnesota (+4.5)

Knowing that Tennessee is playing its starters and Minnesota likely will not, it probably doesn’t make much sense to take the Vikings to cover. But this is a bet believing that the Minnesota roster is much deeper than the Titans’ squad. Take the Vikings to cover the spread in both teams’ final preseason contest.
