Best Underdog NFL Player Prop Picks for Saturday, January 6

This weekend should be fun for NFL action! Several games are taking place on Sunday, many of which have playoff implications on the line. While Sunday’s action should provide some fireworks, the NFL has also given us two games to watch on Saturday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers face off against the No. 1 seeded Baltimore Ravens, and the Houston Texans face the Indianapolis Colts. We are excited for both of these games and while we like a lot of player props from these contests, here are our four favorites!

All of these plays can be found on Underdog. Best of luck!

George Pickens OVER 51.5 Receiving Yards

George Pickens’ stock is slowly rising in the Steelers’ passing offense. After a slow start to the year, Pickens has exploded lately. He has put together two massive games in a row, including 131 yards last week and 195 yards the week prior.

His public comments have worked, and we’re not betting against that trend this week. Look for Pickens to have another big game, smashing the over on 51.5 receiving yards.

Mason Rudolph OVER 196.5 Passing Yards

Does this line seem too low to anybody else? Mason Rudolph has thrown for well over 200 yards in his past two starts, and this game against the Ravens is a must-win. The Steelers need to pull out all of the stops to try and put themselves into a prime playoff position, which will require an all-hands-on-deck situation.

Rudolph will have to throw a lot to ensure they keep themselves in it, and if we’re projecting a big game from Pickens, someone will have to throw him the ball. Look for Rudolph to finish the game with closer to 250 yards than 196, resulting in him going over on this line.

C.J. Stroud OVER 258.5 Passing Yards

Like the Steelers, the Texans and Colts also find themselves in a must-win situation. Their playoff chances get better with a win, but their hopes will be crushed with a loss. Knowing this, we’re banking on C.J. Stroud to assemble a massive game.

Stroud is a front-runner for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, and with another strong performance, he can solidify his standing as the top rookie. He has eclipsed 259 yards in eight games this year, and what better time for him to do it again than in a must-win scenario?

Nico Collins OVER 5.5 Receptions

Nico Collins has turned into a top target for Stroud. While injuries have made the receiver room inconsistent, Collins has been Mr. Reliable in this offense.

We anticipate a Texans win in this one, which will hopefully stem from big performances out of Stroud and Collins.
