Heading into Week 6, take the slot playmakers to make a huge difference as Zay Flowers, Brandon Aiyuk, and Adam Thielen should continue their hot start to the season.
As for RBs, McCaffrey through the air and Henry on the ground are solid prop plays for Sunday. Check out our Underdog pick'em strategy for NFL Week 6 below.
Flowers has now seen three games with 10 or more targets and a 90% snap share. It is safe to say that the Baltimore Ravens finally found themselves a viable option on the outside for Lamar Jackson.
The speedy rookie wideout will face a Titans defense allowing the 5th-most yards per game to WRs along with the 4th-most receptions. With the Ravens 3-2 in a battle for the top spot in the AFC North, expect Flowers to be a massive part of the game plan.
Lamar should be able to torch the Titans using his legs to scramble outside of the pocket and create opportunity for Andrews and Flowers alike.
Henry hit this under twice last season and hasn’t had back-to-back games with 16 or less attempts since Week 9 of… 2019!
While it’s been a rather slow start for the veteran bruiser, the weakened Ravens defense should allow for extra attempts for a top RB in the league at 29.
Baltimore allows over 84 yards on 23 carries on the ground to the position. Henry’s 17 or more rushing attempts is our best bet of the week.
In what could become a high scoring game against the emerging Bengals, both teams are going to head their playmakers’ way early and often as Seattle looks to move to 4-1 after three straight Ws.
Lockett has hit this mark twice this season in four appearances and coming off a bye, has a solid chance to make some huge plays against a weaker Bengals defense than we are accustomed to.
After last season’s bye, T-Lock hit this mark with a touchdown and in 2020 coming off a bye, torched Arizona for 200 yards and 3 scores.
CMC is matchup proof. While the Browns have sported the top defensive unit this season, their solid secondary might give the 49ers elite playmaker some added receiving value.
Averaging 8.4 YPC, Purdy is finding McCaffrey in space and letting him do the rest of the magic. While Cleveland’s run defense leads the league, they are middle-of-the-pack with receiving stats allowed to opposing RBs.
We are taking the matchup proof McCaffrey to lead this 9ers team to victory once again, this time using his hands.
Sticking with this matchup, Brandon Aiyuk is simply too talented in too potent of an offense to take this under. He’s hit this mark in all four games he’s played this season, while debatably becoming Purdy and Shanahan’s top option within the offense.
While his 18 YPC average might drop against a solid Cleveland secondary, in order to win this game Aiyuk has to be a focal point of the offense from the first drive on.
While I’m weary regarding Deebo in this matchup, Aiyuk has a great chance to shine.
Adam Thielen has proved that age does not matter with slot wideouts. With seven or more receptions and three touchdowns in the past four games, it’s safe to say we can trust Thielen in virtually every fantasy format.
Facing Miami, this game could either get out of hand quickly or actually be a dog fight with the offenses exploding. I’ll take the latter of the two as I’ve seen some positives from Bryce Young as this season moves along.
Regardless of game script, Thielen is a solid play against the Dolphins this week.
Three straight games hitting this mark. Primetime, Sunday Night Football. The Bills nearly in a must-win situation after witnessing Miami’s offense through five weeks.
All signs are pointing to Josh Allen connecting with Diggs to hit the century mark on yardage once again for one of the top wideouts in our league. New York allows 145.7 YPG to receivers and just last week allowed 524 total yards to another potent offense in the Dolphins.
With New York’s morale already extremely low, bank on the Bills to put any hope for the Giants to rest in Buffalo.
