NFL Showdown- $6 Million Super Bowl LVIII DraftKings Millionaire Lineup

It all comes down to this. The Super Bowl is finally here! After weeks of preparation, putting together our favorite DraftKings DFS lineups, and player prop bets throughout the year, we’ve made it to the final game of the 2023 NFL Season. Kind of a bittersweet milestone, don’t you think?

The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers are slated to battle in the final game of the year, a Super Bowl rematch from the 2020 season. Who will prevail, and what players will provide the biggest impact in this game?

We’ve got you covered with our favorite DraftKings Millionaire lineup from this game. It’s a bit different of a format than a typical Sunday since it’s just one game. We will pick our captain and five flexes, which will make up our team. Best of luck!

Captain: Travis Kelce ($15,300)

If you have never played in a single-game contest on DraftKings, you might not be aware of the captain spot. The captain is more expensive than their typical value, but they also score points at a 1.5x rate.

Traditional wisdom might tell you to take a quarterback in this spot, but we’re taking a more unconventional approach. Travis Kelce is a different beast in the playoffs and after his 11-catch, 116-yard game last week, we’re riding with him in this matchup. The Taylor Swift effect is real.

Patrick Mahomes ($10,600)

We knew we wanted to stack Kelce and Mahomes in this game, but it came down to a matter of cost in the captain spot. Kelce isn’t going to catch passes from himself, and since we expect the Chiefs to win this game, Mahomes’ hands will likely be all over this one.

We wouldn’t be surprised if he threw 2+ touchdown passes, and as a result, we are taking Mahomes as one of our flexes, even if it comes at an elevated cost.

Isiah Pacheco ($8,000)

Isiah Pacheco has been a breath of fresh air for the Chiefs’ offense. He has been an absolute beast on the ground, which has opened the door for Mahomes’ passing game to take off.

Since the Chiefs don’t let Mahomes quarterback sneak, we anticipate Pacheco to take the bulk of the goal line carries, as well as getting most of the rushing load as well. Don’t overthink putting Pacheco in your lineup for the Super Bowl.

George Kittle ($6,400)

George Kittle had a pretty rough time in the NFC Championship. The Detroit Lions locked him down, only allowing him to log two catches for 27 yards.

We expect a bounce-back game from the veteran tight end against the Chiefs, especially since he was barely targeted against the Lions. He might be frustrated and call for the ball more in this game, hopefully resulting in a much more substantial fantasy performance.

Jake Moody ($5,200)

We’re taking a pretty big shot here by putting a kicker into the lineup. Yes, kickers have a much lower ceiling than a skill-position player, but they also have a relatively safe floor.

We think that throwing Moody into this lineup could work out in our favor, especially since the Chiefs had a top-ten defense when it came to red zone scoring during the regular season. If they can replicate that kind of performance, it could be a pretty big week for Moody, who might be forced to kick several field goals under 40 yards.

Jauan Jennings ($4,000)

Jauan Jennings is, by far, our biggest dart throw of the game. His floor is much lower than Moody’s, but his floor presents an interesting upside.

Jennings has several games this season with three or more catches, which he tends to turn into at least 50 yards of production. If he can find a way to replicate this in the Super Bowl, he should be a fantastic value in this lineup.
