Vanderbilt vs Texas Predictions Guide: 3 Player Props for Saturday, November 1

Week 10 of the college football season is upon us, and there are a lot of good games on the calendar over the next few days. This is the time of the season when contenders show that they’re a viable candidate to win it all, and where pretenders can fall out of it, especially when they face upper-echelon opponents.

This sentiment could not be more true for this weekend’s battle of Vanderbilt and Texas, the No. 9 and No. 20 teams in the country, respectively. Both teams have looked great this season, but they’ve also shown some weaknesses that could be exploited by the other in this one. That said, we’re looking forward to whatever this game has for us, and have put our favorite Underdog player props together to make it that much more exciting. Let’s get into it!

Diego Pavia OVER 175.5 Passing Yards

Texas is a slight favorite in this game, but with Arch Manning’s status still up in the air, that could change as we get closer to the start of this contest. With that in mind, we’re going full speed ahead for Diego Pavia, who faces his most challenging opponent of the season this week.

Pavia is a fantastic rusher, providing a lot of value to Vanderbilt on the ground, but he can also sling the pill when necessary. We think he’s going to have one of his stronger passing performances of the year against Texas, going over 200 yards, cashing in on this prop for us.

Eli Stowers OVER 43.5 Receiving Yards

If Pavia is going to have a big day through the air, he’s going to need to rely on his pass-catcher, which is why we’re excitedly taking the over on Eli Stowers’ receiving yardage line. Stowers is Pavia’s No. 1 target, a sure-handed playmaker from the tight end position.

They’ll need to connect early and often to keep the pressure on Texas, and we’re confident that he’ll at least have 44 yards in this one, if not closer to 70 or 80.

Mason Shipley UNDER 3.5 XP Made

With Texas being a slight favorite and with the game having an over/under of nearly 50 points, one might think that Texas is going to put up an offensive masterclass. We’re not so sure that’s going to be the case, even if Manning plays.

The Longhorns’ offense might struggle to put up points, so we can’t be confident in kicker Mason Shipley to have four opportunities to kick extra points after touchdowns. With that in mind, we’re fading his total and Texas’ offense in this one.
