Rutgers vs Washington: 3 Player Props and Best Bet for Friday, October 10

By Earnest Horn Updated October 8, 2025
Rutgers vs Washington 3 Player Props and Best Bet

The Friday night lights will shine bright in Seattle this week as the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (3-2, 0-2 Big Ten) travel to the Northwest for a conference matchup against the Washington Huskies (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten).

Big Ten play hasn’t been kind to the Scarlet Knights. After a 3-0 start, Rutgers has dropped two straight conference games to Iowa and Minnesota. The East Coast team will head far out west, looking to stop their skid.

Washington’s lone loss was to the defending champion Ohio State Buckeyes. Like Rutgers, the Huskies also started the season 3-0 before dropping a Big Ten game. Their second conference contest was a 24-20 road win to Maryland, putting them on track to make a bowl game this season.

Can Rutgers end their conference skid? We’ll cover that and provide bettors with our top three player props for Friday’s late-night contest.

Washington Huskies QB Demond Williams Jr OVER 261.5 Passing Yards

Sophomore quarterback Demond Williams Jr has been brilliant in his debut season as a starter. He’s completed over 73 percent of his passes for 1,226 yards, eight touchdowns, and only one interception through five games this year.

He’s primed for a big game against Rutgers. Although Minnesota’s offense isn’t known for its passing attack, the Scarlet Knights surrendered over 300 yards to Gophers quarterback Drake Lindsey in last week’s loss. That’s why bettors should feel confident that Williams will eclipse his 261.5-yard passing prop total on Friday night.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights RB Antwan Raymond OVER 71.5 Rushing Yards

Rutgers found a gem in running back Antwan Raymond. The Canadian athlete leads his team with 87 rushing attempts, 471 rushing yards, and nine touchdowns this season.

The 5-foot-11 player has been a featured offensive weapon all season long, but his recent masterpiece against Minnesota firmed his star status. In that game, he finished with 28 carries for 161 yards and two scores, and he caught one pass for 12 yards.

Washington has kept opponents from running the football, holding both Washington State and Maryland to less than 55 total rushing yards. Expect Raymond by himself to end this trend, and the Scarlet Knights’ running back will cover his player prop bet.

Washington Huskies WR Denzel Boston UNDER 79.5 Receiving Yards

Williams’ top target this season is junior wide receiver Denzel Boston. The 6-foot-4 receiver has nabbed 25 receptions for 346 yards and four touchdowns, outpacing his teammates in all three categories.

Although he’s caught five or more receptions four times this season, he’s only surpassed the 80-yard mark twice. Bettors should note that trend and take the under on Boston’s receiving prop bet.

Best Bet: OVER 59.5 Points

Washington should win this contest, but a 10.5-point spread is a lot for the Huskies. The school had a close contest with Maryland, and being at home should be a boost for Washington on Friday night.

The better bet is the total points scored. Neither Rutgers nor Washington has a world-class defense, but both offenses have performed better than expected. That’s why bettors should take these teams to score at least 60 combined points on Friday night.
