Our Top Player Prop for Florida State vs Georgia Tech

College Football is BACK! If you guys checked out our last article, we laid out some Team Future Win wagers that I am very hopeful about!

For Week 0 we have 4 games on the slate, 3 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. The best matchup this weekend is the one we dive into below, and it's been a much-anticipated game all off-season!

Check out our top player prop for Florida State vs. Georgia Tech. Best of luck with all of your Week 0 wagers!

Can Florida St Slow Down This High-Powered Georgia Tech Offense?

Saturday at noon we get Florida St taking on Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland. We saw a game here last season with Notre Dame's drubbing of Navy. Taking a passing prop in another country could be tricky, but I believe this line is simply too low.

I do expect GT to run the ball as they were the top rushing team in ACC a year ago and finished 13th in the country in rush yards/game. But this game has a 55.5 Total, GT is facing FSU with only 4 returning defensive starters. I expect FSU to try to stop the run first and keep King in the pocket, putting King in more passing situations.

King is very good at running the ball while returning his 1,000-yard running back Haynes and FSU knows this. I expect them to stack the box and bring pressure from multiple angles to force the ball out of King's hands. King led this offense to 3rd total ranking in the ACC and top 35 last season in the country.

Top Player Prop: Haynes King (GT) o187.5 Passing Yards (-114) FanDuel

King hit over 187.5 in 8/12 starts last season while returning his top 3 targets from last season, 2 WR, and RB (Haynes) who is a good pass catcher. Tech’s offense is led by and projected to have one of the best offensive lines in the ACC. Last season this offensive line allowed the 15th fewest sacks in the country, just over 1 per game.

GT returns 8 starters on offense whereas Florida State returns only 8 starters out of 22 from last season and I like them to keep this a competitive game. I do believe Florida State will run the ball down Tech's throats and perhaps keep the lead most of the game forcing more passes, and away from the run game.

Football is a game of game scripts. If GT is up, they won’t need to pass as much, so we need FSU to keep it on them early and often.
