Ole Miss at Georgia Best Prop Bets and Our Best Bet

In a conference battle between two Top 10 teams, the No. 10 Mississippi Rebels (8-1, 5-1 SEC) travel East to take on the top ranked Georgia Bulldogs (9-0, 6-0 SEC) Saturday.

For Ole Miss, winning this game is just one item needed for the Rebels to make a return trip to Georgia later this year for the SEC Championship game. Ole Miss lost to Alabama 24-10 earlier this season, so the Rebels would need to win out and see the Crimson Tide lose both remaining SEC contests in order to earn a berth in the SEC Championship game.

For Georgia, the recipe to get to the SEC Championship contest is easy – win and you’re in the game. The Bulldogs are currently on a 26-game winning streak and haven’t experienced defeat since the 2021 SEC Championship game.

With stakes incredibly high, which players can both teams count on for this Top 10 battle? Read on to discover our top player prop bets for Ole Miss versus Georgia as well as our best bet in this thrilling SEC contest.

Ladd McConkey OVER 67.5 Receiving Yards

Despite missing multiple games with an injury, Georgia TE Brent Bowers continues to lead the team in receptions (41), receiving yards (567), and TDs (4). In his absence, Bulldog QB Carson Beck has leaned on WR Ladd McConkey to power the Georgia passing attack.

McConkey has 17 of 22 receptions with Bowers out of the lineup, netting 288 yards in those three games. Ole Miss (and bettors) can expect more of the same as Bowers remains sidelined this weekend.

Beck clearly has a go-to receiver, and McConkey has capably filled that void over the past two games. The Rebels have too many options to cover, giving credence to McConkey successfully covering this prop bet Saturday.

Jaxson Dart OVER 225.5 Passing Yards

The Rebels rely on QB Jaxson Dart to power their offense. The junior signal caller has completed over 65 percent of his passes for 2,467 yards, 16 TDs and four INTs. Dart is also lethal in the running game as the Utah native has ran for 334 yards and seven TDs on 88 carries this season.

Against Georgia, expect Dart and the Rebels will look to open up the running game with downfield passes. While the Bulldogs defense is one of the best in the game, Georgia only has 20 sacks through nine games.

The lack of pressure will help Dart surpass the 225.5 passing yards mark for this prop bet. This is my favorite prop bet on the board!

Daijun Edwards OVER 85.5 Rushing Yards

Another year, another dominant Georgia runner. This season, Bulldog RB Daijun Edwards holds that mantle as the senior has rushed for 633 yards on 111 carries, netting eight TDs in 2023. Edwards can also be counted on as a receiving threat, catching 11 passes for 95 yards.

Expect Edwards to punish Ole Miss on the ground in this contest. Over his last three contests, Edwards has eclipsed the 100-yard mark in total offense in all three, and twice Edwards did so solely on the ground.

Once Georgia takes the lead in this game, the Rebels will see a healthy dose of Edwards Saturday evening. This is another easy over!

Best Bet: Georgia (-10.5)

Unfortunately for the Rebels, the Georgia Bulldogs are rolling. Georgia’s average margin of victory this season is over 23 points per contest, and their closest contest came against Auburn (27-20 victory) earlier this year.

Expect the Bulldogs to dominate Ole Miss throughout the game and win by two or more touchdowns. Lane Kiffin will dial up a few trick plays, but the Dawgs defense will be too tough in this one! Good luck with your bets!
