Oklahoma Vs. Texas Live Odds and Best Player Props

The upcoming college football slate is filled with awesome games. There are several games among ranked teams, but none of them are more hyped than the game between Oklahoma and Texas.

In the all-time matchup between these two schools, Texas leads, 63-50-5. Despite Texas’ historic dominance, Oklahoma has had their number as of late. Oklahoma has won four of the last five matchups, a potential sign of what’s to come this week.

Vegas doesn’t see it that way. As the line currently sits, according to Caesars Sportsbook, Texas is 6-point favorites in this one. They’ve been playing well as of late, and they simply cannot afford a loss at this point in the season.

Texas is ranked third in the country, while Oklahoma holds the 12 spot. Needless to say, this is a massive, massive game for both programs. If we had to give a prediction, we have to give the edge to Texas.

Quinn Ewers is playing out of his mind right now, and Texas is a team that seems determined to make a run at the national title. We’re taking Texas ML, and Texas -6 as well.

In this huge game, there are a few players that could swing this matchup in one way or another. Along with our recommendation of Texas ML and their -6 line, we’ve put together a few of our favorite player props from this game to make it a bit more fun for everyone watching!

Quinn Ewers OVER 295.5 Passing Yards

At a first glance, one might call me crazy for biting the over on this line. After all, Ewers has only gone over this total in two games this year. However, the two games he went over this line were against marquee opponents: Kansas and Alabama.

The other three games were blowouts, games that Ewers didn’t have to put on a masterclass for the Longhorns to claim victory. While we predict Texas to win this one, it might be a tough, back and forth battle for a while.

We expect Ewers to continue on his Heisman-level play this week, putting together a massive performance and lead the Longhorns to victory. Look for Ewers to smash this line of 295.5 passing yards, throwing closer to 350.

Dillon Gabriel OVER 265.5 Passing Yards

We’re expecting this game to be a shootout. For this to be a shootout, both quarterbacks will need to put up big numbers. Gabriel has achieved at least 266 yards in four of five games this season and has thrown for more than 350 yards on two separate occasions.

Texas hasn’t allowed a quarterback to hit this mark this season, which might cause concern for Gabriel’s numbers. However, given the hype surrounding this game, and the amount of pressure that Gabriel will be under, we feel as though he will rise to the occasion.

Look for Gabriel to hit this total, although, not by much. We understand that Texas’ defense is good, but we still believe they’ll let him throw for around 280 yards.

Xavier Worthy OVER 73.5 Passing Yards

If Ewers is going to hit the over on his passing totals, he’ll need to throw the ball to someone. Who has he thrown the ball to in big games? That’s right, Xavier Worthy.

In the Longhorns’ games against Alabama and Kansas, Worthy has combined for 168 receiving yards, adding in a touchdown against Alabama. He is relied upon in big matchups, and he’ll certainly have his number called a lot in this one.
