Ohio State vs. Notre Dame 3 Player Props for National Title

The College Football Championship game is finally here! After weeks of hard-fought matchups, it all comes down to this. Ohio State is taking on Notre Dame in a highly anticipated game, one that not many would have predicted heading into the season.

Both teams have gotten to this game with different strategies, so it will be interesting to see how it all goes down. At the moment, Ohio State is an 8.5-point favorite, which might seem disrespectful to Notre Dame.

However, Ohio State has punished their opponents all season, and it appears that the oddsmakers believe they’ll do more of the same against Notre Dame. While we’re not going to give our predictions for a final score or the line in this one, we will be going over our favorite player props from Underdog. Let’s get into it!

Emeka Egbuka OVER 56.5 Receiving Yards

Emeka Egbuka might be our most-bet college receiver of the season, but there’s a good reason for that. He’s been among the best at the position in the country, a great player alongside Jeremiah Smith, another highly touted receiver.

While both players could have impressive stat lines, we’re leaning more towards Egbuka in this one, if only because of his experience. Smith will have his moment in the sun, especially next year when Egbuka is gone.

For now, we’re going to take the over on Egbuka’s receiving yards, believing that he’ll end his career as a Buckeye with a huge game.

Will Howard UNDER 249.5 Passing Yards

Will Howard has been a surprising player for the Buckeyes this season. At times, he’s looked like a Heisman candidate, and at others, he’s left something to be desired. Howard’s floor is decent, but his ceiling isn’t as high as a lot of his counterparts across the county.

Ohio State has a potent rushing attack, and if they take an early lead in this one, they could lean on them to take time off the clock. With that being said, we’re fading Will Howard’s passing line, believing he’ll throw for less than 250 yards.

Riley Leonard OVER 175.5 Passing Yards

While we’re fading Howard’s passing yardage line, Riley Leonard might need all the help he can get in this one. Ohio State’s defense is strong and could take away Notre Dame’s rushing attack from the get-go.

Leonard might be forced to throw the ball a lot more than he’s used to, especially if Notre Dame finds itself in a suboptimal game script. Leonard isn’t necessarily known for slinging the rock around the field, but we feel confident that he has a big game in him in this title matchup.
