Another week of college football action has come and gone, and we’re already entering Week 8 of the season. A lot of awesome games have gone down already, and we’re excited to watch the action unfold and see where teams find themselves in the standings.
With so much to tune into, it might be difficult for bettors to hone in on their favorite matchups of the weekend, but we’ve found our top games from this weekend and would be more than happy to share our best props with you!
With that in mind, let’s get our Underdog selections from the battle between LSU and Vanderbilt, the 10th and 17th-highest-ranked teams in the country, respectively.

Diego Pavia OVER 206.5 Passing Yards
We were a bit surprised to see Diego Pavia’s passing line so low in this one, especially with a projected over/under of nearly 50 points. Oddsmakers are projecting this game to be something of a shootout, which would indicate that both QBs could soar over their posted lines.
Pavia has gone over 207 yards in three games this season, and in a pass-heavy matchup, we’re expecting him to do it again. His rushing tendencies limit his overall ceiling as a passer, but achieving 207 shouldn’t be too difficult.
Garrett Nussmeier OVER 257.5 Passing Yards
After his 2024 season, Garrett Nussmeier came into the 2025 campaign as a Heisman hopeful. He’s put up some decent numbers thus far, but it’s been nothing close to what he was able to do a year ago. His touchdown to interception ratio isn’t what LSU would like it to be, and his numbers as a whole aren’t screaming Heisman at this point in the season.
However, Nussmeier does have big-game potential, and with Vanderbilt allowing nearly 250 passing yards per game on the year, it could be a prime time for him to get back on track and flash the big guns. We’re riding with the over in this spot, believing he’s due for a massive performance to keep up with Pavia.
Eli Stowers OVER 57.5 Receiving Yards
It’s not common for a tight end to be the top receiving option in college football, but Eli Stowers certainly provides that type of value for the Vanderbilt offense. He and Pavia have a great connection, which is evidenced by the fact that he leads the team in receptions, and he’s the leader in yards by a wide margin.
Stowers is quickly playing himself into the conversation of being the best tight end in the country, and we expect his name to be called a lot in this one, easily going over this 57.5-yard line.
