Another week of college football is upon us. This is an exciting time of year for sports fans, especially fans of multiple sports. MLB playoffs are going on, the NFL season is in full swing, and college football is ramping up.
There are several marquee matchups this week, including four games among ranked opponents. We’re specifically going to focus on player props from those games given the magnitude of these contests. Here are our favorite three props in this weekend’s biggest games, which can all be found on Underdog!
We took Bowers’ receiving yardage prop last week and were rewarded handsomely for it. Bowers ended up with 157 yards in Georgia’s narrow victory over Auburn. This showed us that he’s not only a massive part of Georgia’s offense, but they like to turn to him in crunch time.
This week’s game against Kentucky is slated to receive a lot of media attention given that both teams are ranked. Bowers’ performance against Auburn has already generated a ton of buzz for him in next year’s NFL Draft, and he’ll look to post a similar game this week.
Bowers has achieved at least 77 yards in three of five games this season. He is heating up at the right time, and we’re confident that he’s in for another massive game on Saturday.
Big players come to play in the biggest games. LSU takes on Mizzou this week in what should be an intense ranked battle. Jayden Daniels has taken the college football world by storm, throwing for at least 320 yards in each of his past three games.
He has put up big games against some great teams, including a 414-yard showing against Mississippi last week. Mizzou’s defense is strong, and they’ve only allowed one passer to throw for more than 306 yards this season. While this might cause some fans to stay away from Daniels’ over, we’re embracing it.
He’s played too well lately to falter in this game, and his draft stock is on the rise. Look for another masterclass from Daniels this week, resulting in him going over this passing total.
Tayvion Robinson started the season strong, putting up two performances of 86+ yards in Kentucky’s first three games. Since then, he has greatly dropped off in production, receiving five combined targets in his last two games.
Devin Leary did not look himself last week, and Kentucky now faces one of the top defenses in the nation. We’re expecting the passing game to struggle again, especially against Georgia. This will limit opportunities for Robinson, resulting in him going under his receiving total.
