Boise State vs. Washington: 3 Player Props for LA Bowl

College bowl season is officially here, which is among the most exciting times of year for college football fans. From now until mid-January, it seems like there will be some sort of football on TV every day, giving fans ample games to tune into.

The first bowl on the slate is the Bucked Up LA Bowl on Saturday, which features Boise State and Washington in an excellent matchup. Sportsbooks have the over/under set around 52.5, which means that this could be a shootout.

We’re looking forward to this one, so we’ve put our favorite player props together, hoping to make things that much more exciting with these lines from Underdog. Let’s get into it!

Dylan Riley OVER 68.5 Rushing Yards

Dylan Riley has been one of the biggest parts of Boise State’s offense this year. He’s no Ashton Jeanty, of course, but he has rushed for over 1,000 yards and is averaging 5.9 yards per carry.

We have little doubt that he will soar over his rushing prop in this one, as he’s gone over it in eight games already, including his last four. Don’t overthink this prop for one of Boise State’s most prolific offensive weapons.

Denzel Boston OVER 63.5 Receiving Yards

Similar to Riley, Denzel Boston is a massive part of Washington’s offense. He leads the team in receptions by a wide margin and has 200 more receiving yards than his next closest teammate.

Boston is not only a big-play threat, which helps his odds for a big receiving game, but his target volume is also appealing for us to take the over on his yardage. Look for the junior receiver to put a monster performance together in this one!

Latrell Caples UNDER 43.5 Receiving Yards

This is a pretty simple analysis for us. As we mentioned earlier, we think Riley is going to have a field day on the ground in this matchup, which should give limited opportunities to Boise State receivers.

Plus, this team really likes to spread the ball around when they do throw, so it’s a crapshoot on a given game as to who will have the most impressive performance. With that in mind, we’re taking the under on Latrell Caples’ receiving yardage, betting more heavily on their run game than anything else.
